In this Arise Work From Home Review you’ll learn…
- All about the company.
- How it works.
- And if it’s a good idea to commit to them.
Arise Work From Home is a platform where people can complete a variety of tasks to earn income from home.
The platform is a like a service marketplace similar to companies like Fiverr but with stricter rules.
Some people say it’s the best platform to find online work, meanwhile other people are saying it’s a scam.
So what’s the truth? Let’s find out.
Arise Work From Home Review
Product Name: Arise Work From Home
Product Type: Paid Call Center and Virtual Service Work.
Price: $7.95 for Background Check. $40.00/Month Reoccurring Fee.
Best For: People with Call Center Support Experience.
Summary: Personally, I’m not a fan of Arise Work From Home. It’s an interesting idea and a legit platform to work online. The income potential is OK. I’m not a fan of paying for skill assessments, background checks to get a job, but I understand it.
I really don’t like that you have to pay a monthly fee to stay in the system. I feel like it’s not worth the hassle and there are much better ways to make money online.
Arise Work From Home Review:
The Arise network is particularly interesting because they have their entry requirements that are pretty strict.
For example, everyone needs to undergo a background check that costs $7.95 and if you have a criminal record you’ll be unable to work for the platform.
On that note you’ll also be required to sign non-disclosure statements for the work you conduct. Once you fill in all the necessary information and make an account you’ll be able to choose your own clients, which can be fun.
Arise focuses on call centers and virtual services.
Most of the tasks revolve around answering hotlines, customer support, and other call center solutions.
The company appeals to people because it offers work from home opportunities, no need to head to an official office to do your work, which is always nice.
On the other hand, their entry requirements are a bit ridiculous, and we’ll talk about them later on in this review.
What is Arise Work From Home?
Arise Work From Home is a platform that connects companies looking for call center support to qualified agents.
To clarify a couple of things; Arise is a network that makes it easier for freelancers to find their ideal clients, it’s a freelancer marketplace.
The company will provide you with tools and lessons that you need to become qualified to find your own clients.
But it’s important to remember that Arise does not hire you directly.
You don’t work for Arise, but rather the people Arise will link you to.
Another interesting thing about this platform is you need to complete a wide range of skill assessments in order to unlock access to potential clients.
Normally, this wouldn’t be a problem, but you have to pay for this training out of pocket.
And completing the skill assessments does not guarantee anything – in fact – your account may be closed without warning at anytime.
I have seen a lot of complaints in Arise Work From Home where people mention their accounts being terminated for no reason, even after paying for the training lessons.
So those are a few things to keep in mind before you sign up for this platform.
It’s also why some people think that Arise Work From Home is a scam.
Arise Work From Home Downsides:
We already mentioned a couple; the high entry level requirements and paid lessons, but there are some more cons we need to discuss.
Monthly Maintenance Fees:
To remain a membership, a monthly fee is required. Which is a bit much when you pile on the fees required for the training and skills.
You have to pay around $40/month to remain with the platform. Need a online work based platform that doesn’t have a monthly fee, you can check out our Rat Race Rebellion review to see if that might be a better fit.
You would think after jumping through all these hoops that the work would be worth it. More often than not, it’s not worth the trouble.
Most of the current members report earning between $10 – 15 an hour, which is below minimum wage in most first world countries.
Of course, in third world countries, this would be an excellent rate, but…
Region Locked to UK and US Only:
The only problem is it’s ONLY available in US and UK, so even if you did live in a third world country where the dollar goes further, it’s impossible to access the platform.
Most of the clients need call center support, which means you’ll need to spend a lot of time on the phone.
To me, it doesn’t really make sense to spend hours on the phone to earn less than minimum wage in a first world country.
On the other hand, there are advancement options. The more you work, the more you can earn, but it takes a long time to make a consistent income.
Speaking of consistent income, the Arise network’s work is usually seasonal; sometimes its good, sometimes there’s no work at all. It’s a gamble.
Since Arise does not directly handle payments, sometimes it can be difficult to receive the full fee for projects.
Need Help Making Money Online?
Arise Work from Home Pros:
The pros would be the fact that you can make money at home and there is a good possibility to secure long-term work as well.
So if you are a stay at home mom or are unable to find regular work, it could be a chance for you to earn some extra cash.
Most people praise the work from home aspect but not much else about the platform is particularly appealing to be honest.
Personally, if you really want to make money working from home, it’s best to launch your own business.
Also, I think it’s a better idea to reach out to potential clients on your own, instead of using a third party to find work.
The reasons for this are plentiful. For one, there’s no income limit. You can set your own rates.
Yes, finding clients is the main challenge, but once you perfect a client-finding strategy it all starts to fall together.
If you would like to learn more about how to offer a service online for short-term income, I recommend reading this article about how to make money without a job.
Is Arise Work from Home a Scam?
No, it’s not. It is a legitimate company that does what it claims.
I feel it’s not the best option for freelancers though.
As someone who has freelanced for several years, I can tell you finding clients directly by reaching out to business owners is by far the best way to find work.
There are freelance marketplaces you can use, like Up Work, but most of the time they’re full of penny-pinchers that don’t really appreciate value.

What I Recommend:
I recommend building a simple online business and start with a website. As a matter of fact. If you’re willing to work hard, it’s hard not to have success with affiliate marketing.
There’s little financial risk and affiliate websites make for a great foundation to launch other forms of online marketing. So it’s perfect for anyone.
As a matter of fact, I just did a recent success post as was surprised at how many people from all over the world are able to generate a 4 – 5 Figure Income online with 6 months to a year. So I wrote a post about and included all the individual success posts. Here it is below…
Personally, I don’t like Arise work from home.
You have to take a ton of paid tests, skill assessments, background checks, and – on top of all that – pay a monthly fee to stay in the system.
I feel like it’s not worth the hassle. Plus there’s so many better ways to make money online.
