What is Be The Boss Network?
Be The Boss Network is a directory for work at home opportunities, but mostly network marketing companies.
There is no initial cost to create an account, it’s completely free.
If you’re the type of person that wants to work from the comfort of your home then you’ll want to find the best work at home opportunities out there, and that’s what this website aims to achieve.
Of course, there are a few problems with the website, and we’ll discuss them later on in this article.
The website in itself is quite simple and simply lists different opportunities in alphabetical order, that’s basically the sole purpose of the website.
Each company has a brief description and initial cost details, as well as contact information and additional details like top members, owners, and more.
It seems like every network marketing opportunity is listed on this website, even if those so called opportunities have been proven to be scams.

Here’s What Works, Tried and True >>
What Else Does The Website Offer People?
Unfortunately, not much.
It’s more like a portal for MLM opportunities.
The website is full of ads, and the design leaves something to be desired.
The front-page lists the website’s featured opportunities, and you can pay to have your website featured too.
As it turns out, all the links pointing to the opportunities are affiliate links, so Be The Boss Network makes their money be referring people to multi-level marketing opportunities from ad clicks.
What I Didn’t Like
The main thing that I didn’t like about Be The Boss Network is that they promote many opportunities that are downright scams.
There is a rating system but nobody seems to use it as all the companies listed have five stars.
On the other hand, there is a comment system, linked to Facebook, but it seems like most people don’t use it to share information about the opportunity.
Rather, they use it to ask generic questions, and work at home advice, not to mention all the random spam comments (the comments are not moderated at all).
Be The Boss Network basically seems like a quick way for the owners of the Be The Boss Network’s website to make some cash as affiliate marketers.
I wasn’t able to find much value in the website at all, even though I did register.
There is also a blog which is called MLM News. It features articles about different opportunities and work at home advice, the comments are disabled on all the articles.
On a closer inspection, it seems like the last article was published in 2011 thus confirming my suspicions that the website has not been updated in a long time.
Not to mention that a lot of information regarding certain companies is simply incorrect, and needs to be updated. I also found a few companies that have been taken offline all-together.
In other words, Be The Boss Network really needs to update their platform!
I assume whoever made this website was only interested in making a fast grab at affiliate commissions, and didn’t really have a long term plan in mind.
I’m sure whoever made Be The Boss Network has a list of similar websites that are just sitting on the back burner and haven’t been updated in years.
I also was a little astounded that real ways to make money online are not listed on the Be The Boss Network website.
Mind you, this is a website that claims to be the solution to all your work at home needs.
There are lots of legitimate ways to make money online that are not listed on the website.
That means people who are not sure what they’re getting themselves into are being sent to multi-level marketing companies that will prey on their inexperience and take advantage of them.
Many scamming them out of their hard earned cash.
There is also absolutely no support from Be The Boss Network. Nobody even replies to comments.
The entire website is a ghost-town.
There’s really not much to like about the Be The Boss Network website, it’s outdated, links are broken, and nobody is moderating comments.
Not only that; information is outdated, there’s too many ads, too much spam, and the recommended opportunities are scams.
Be The Boss Network Pros
At least, the website is free, that’s one upside.
Final Verdict On Be The Boss Network
I’m all for directories that list honest information about various business opportunities, but this directory is really not helpful.
And I suggest that you look for information elsewhere.
If you follow the advice on Be The Boss Network you’ll end up forking over lots of cash to different companies, and you’ll never see that cash again.
It’ll be gone forever (and some of these scams can be really expensive!).
So, I don’t recommend Be The Boss Network, and I would say it’s a scam if it had a price-tag.
Fortunately, it’s free, so I can’t really say that Be The Boss Network is a scam, but they do support scams – so you make the call.
On the other hand, I can say that there are plenty of better directories for business opportunities out there, not to mention all the websites that review business opportunities.
For your safety, stay away from Be The Boss Network.

I’m curious to know how much traffic Be The Boss Network actually gets. I feel sorry for the folks who end up going in the MLM direction. Although I started there and it was a good lesson to learn.
Simply because you cant rely on others in your downline to make you money. People are just too lazy or will end up quitting once there downline starts diminishing. TrafficWave was the MLM I was in and it had a legit helpful product. But even so, try pushing a auto-responder onto a newbie who has no idea what its for!.
It doesn’t work out which is probably the case with all the programs on Be The Boss Network.
Hi Josh,
Thanks for your feedback with MLM’s and be the boss network. Yeah, I’m sure that most people who go to their site aren’t converting with their MLM programs.
I too did a couple MLM’s in my twenties and relying on your downline seems to always be the problem. That’s one thing I really like about affiliate marketing over other business models. I can work as hard as I want and I don’t have to rely on others to get the job done.
I also only promote beneficial training programs to my audience and that seems to make a big difference in my success.
Thanks for your feedback and take care,
Todd
Hi Todd,
Personally, I don’t like the MLM business model so if that is all Be the Boss Network promote then I’m not interested. I wonder what they had in mind when they created the site, helping others find legitimate work or making money for themselves through the affiliate links. I am sure it was the latter.
I would agree with you, this doesn’t really seem to be a scam, but at the same time if someone tries any of these multi-level marketing companies the odds of them making any money are stacked against them.
Therefore, I’m with you on your recommendation of internet marketing training. This is a much better alternative for building a real online business.
Great review Todd, I’ll certainly be staying clear of Be the Boss Network.
Peter
Hi Peter,
Thanks for your feedback on Be the Boss Network. I don’t think this site was based on helping people. It may come off that way at first, but when we take a closer look at be the boss network, we can see that’s it’s purely for the benefit of the affiliate commissions they hope to achieve from all the MLM programs they recommend.
I’ve seen a few MLM’s that offer decent products and are backed by good research, but even the company I’m thinking of has zero training to teach people how to drive traffic to their products. Which is one of the best things that Wealthy Affiliate teaches.
If one is willing to invest the time to learn these basic SEO skills, they’ll be able to dominate whatever niche they want to work.
Thanks Peter, it’s always good to get the perspective of fellow online business owners.
Todd
Hey Todd thanks for this review of Be the Boss Network.
At first glance this actually seems like an interesting concept, to have a directory for work at home opportunities.
But as you look a little deeper it doesn’t really offer anything of value at all!
I will bet that just about all of the programs they feature are just scams!
I think getting involved with Be the Boss Network would just be a complete waste of time and money!
Thanks for the heads up 🙂
~John
You bet John and thanks for your feedback on our review of Be The Boss Network. I too wouldn’t waste any time with these guys. For those that really are looking for honest training on how to build an online business, there’s no better place to get started than Wealthy Affiliate.
Even if your really into a MLM product or business, you should still learn how to do keyword research so that you can benefit from the limitless traffic the internet provides. By gaining some basic SEO skills that WA teaches, you can much more efficient with targeting your market to increase sales.
Thanks again John and take care,
Todd
Yeah, Be the Boss Network sounds like a lot of those low quality affiliate sites that are not very helpful and seem to only benefit the site owners and screw over the subscribers.
It’s very difficult to find an actual training site that actually cares about the user’s success. Luckily, the one you’ve recommended (Wealthy Affiliate) has a very strong reputation as one of the few training sites that’s around that does exactly care about their members success.
It’s actually refreshing once you explore Wealthy Affiliate and see all the training’s, classes, webinars, and the strong community support.
Very nice review of Be the Boss Network and glad there are people like yourself pointing people in the right direction.
Thanks Dan,
Perfectly stated. There’s not that many programs that really care and help people progress in the online business world. There is a handful, but I have yet to find one as comprehensive and supportive as Wealthy Affiliate.
Be The Boss Network reminds me of 1Sale but instead of linking online shoppers to counterfeit Chinese knockoff affiliates, they’re affiliating people to MLM programs.
I love affiliate marketing, but I think it’s incredible important that you are recommending products that are helpful to your niche audience. That seems to be the best way to generate long term success with online businesses.
Thanks for your feedback on our Be The Boss Network Review.
Todd
Man, thanks for saving me the time and the hassle of getting suckered by scams like Be The Boss Network and the MLM’s they refer people to. I came to your site looking for information on Be The Boss Network hoping that it would help me create my own online business.
At the same time, I want to thank you for referring me to Wealthy Affiliate. That site looks like it really does have everything I need to learn about how to run an online business from my home.
That’s what most online entrepreneurs want, really, is to work from home and create honest helpful businesses.
Thanks for your recommendation and info on Be The Boss Network. All the best to you 🙂
Paul
You bet Paul, happy to help out. And you are ablsolutely correct. There are thousands of people who want step by step training on how to create thriving online businesses. And that’s exactly what Wealthy Affiliate does. As a matter of fact, they’ve helped over 200,000 people create their own online business in the last decade. And I’m one of them.
The training is not hard to understand, you just have to apply it and take action on what you learn. My recommendation to you, now that you’ve found Wealthy Affiliate, is to stick to the Online Entrepreneur Course day by day. Don’t skip a single lesson and complete each task the best you can.
You’re website will grow and evolve before you’re eyes and soon you’ll be making online commissions daily. Enjoy the ride my friend and thanks for your feedback on WA and Be The Boss Network.
Cheers,
Todd
