Best How to Books for Business:
We’ll start with a classic, a book that has been around since 1936 and still continues to change lives.
1. How to Win Friends and Influence People:
If I had to pick one book out of this list of best how to books for business, it would be this one.
There’s a reason this book is a favorite in entrepreneur circles.
In fact, most copy-writer coaches recommend reading this book because it provides insight into how people think the way they do.
I didn’t think much of this book when I first heard about it but I decided to give it a shot.
And I have to say there’s a great deal of valuable nuggets inside.
2. The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People:
This is another best seller in the business and self-help niche written by Stephen Covey in 1989.
The core idea of the book is to develop certain habits that have been proven to catapult you to success.
For example, the first one, “Be Proactive” which talks about the importance of expanding your influence and pursuing opportunities, instead of waiting for them.
This habit alone has the power to drastically change your life!
7 Habits of Highly Effective people is one of the earliest books to talk about the abundance mentality, a mental block entrepreneurs usually struggle with.
I highly recommend this book.
3. Thinking, Fast and Slow:
Thinking Fast and Slow is a major New York best seller, and a newer book, first published in 2011.
The book is a compilation of research the author conducted over the years, subjects span from cognitive bias to happiness.
It’s a very interesting book that aims to shed light on how people process information and how framing works.
This book is also recommended for copy writers because the Framing Effect is used a lot in sales.
Basically, the idea is to change the context of questions or statements, in order to create a positive response.
There is tons of valuable information inside the book. I recommend grabbing a copy.
4. Think and Grow Rich:
Think and Grow Rich is up there with How to Win Friends and Influence People.
It was first published in 1937 and it has gone on to win multiple awards and secured the best seller list multiple years in a row.
Business Week magazine listed it as their 6th recommended book for business.
Over the course of his lifetime, Napoleon Hill developed 16 core laws of success, which anyone can follow to see success in any area of their lives.
You see a lot of these mindset lessons inside popular internet marketing training courses nowadays!
But this is where they first appeared.
The book outlines a series of steps to take in order to see success.
For instance, having a clear goal is one of the more stressed ideas.
“Know very clearly where you want to go”
This is a mindset tip that you can use in your online business. It makes a huge difference.
5. The Millionaire Fast lane:
The Millionaire Fast Lane is a lesser-known book but it’s one that has changed the way I think about a lot of issues.
The core idea of the book is to teach people how to build a business that has the potential to explode.
Most business books try to drive home the idea that being rich is only for people who save cash their entire lives.
The Millionaire Fast Lane lays down a road map that anyone can use to build an explosive business, while still in their prime.
One of the business models recommended in the book is creating a website.
In fact, the author made his fortune from one website alone!
It’s a very interesting book – don’t let the name throw you off.
If you’re ready to get rolling right way, click the photo below to see how it’s done.
In this article I recommended my best how to books for business, but there are lots more out there.
Some books on this list need to be read more than once in order to fully understand the ideas.
If you can’t find paper copies of the books, I recommend Kindle Paper White for a mobile reading experience.
I have one and I love it.
Just keep in mind you can have a library full of books, but if you don’t do anything with that knowledge, nothing will come from it.
Be proactive. Read a book and try to implement the ideas right after you put it down.
Train yourself to build the habits of a successful business owner.
Thanks for taking the time to read this article and I hope you grab one or more of these books.
