Bing rewards was created for the purpose of attracting more people to regularly use the Bing Search engine.

How Does Bing Rewards Works: Quick Summary

So, the first thing you should know about Bing is that it is completely free to use.

This is a good sign.

Basically the way this reward system works is that you earn rewards by simply performing search requests on the search engine. 

However, it is important to note that only residents in the United States are eligible to use Bing Rewards, for the time being.

You will also have to be over 13 years of age and each individual can only use one Bing account for Bing rewards.

Furthermore, each household is only limited to opening five accounts.

Sounds reasonable and easy so far right?

Well, there are a few things about the system that aren’t very attractive.

For starters, you do not earn money, but rather you earn points that can be exchanged for gift cards and other similar rewards.

This does mean, however, that you will save money by using Bing Rewards, but do not expect to be earning hundreds of dollars worth of rewards.

You also have a limit of how many points you can earn each day. More on that below.

How Does The Bing Rewards System Work?

You earn credit from both a mobile device and from your PC.

Using the Bing search engine on both your PC and mobile device will earn you 1 credit for every 2 searches you make.

Keep in mind that you do not have to actually open any websites, but only have to type in something in the search engine and press enter.

Here’s the catch though, you only earn up to 15 credits per day from your PC and 10 credits from your mobile phone. 

So theoretically, you can earn up to 25 credits each day by using Bing on both your computer and phone.

Furthermore, every type of search works, excluding Bing Blogs, Bing Help, and Bing Maps.

It is also important to know that there are three levels of membership that you can obtain in Bing Rewards.

Here’s what you need to know about the three Bing membership tiers.

What are The Three Membership Tiers?

• Member. This is the lowest membership tier and all newcomers will start at this level. While it is the first level, you still have complete access to all the features of Bing Rewards.

• Silver is the next tier.To be honest you do not really earn anything meaningful by reaching this level other than an one time bonus of 50 credits. In order to reach the silver tier, you will need to earn 200 credits.

• Gold is the third and last level. Once you reach Silver tier, you will need to earn an additional 750 credits and earn at least 150 credits in a month to become a Gold member.

You will also have to continue to perform at least 150 credits worth of searches each month to keep your Gold status.

The trade off for this is becoming to look like busy work?

You get 10% discounts when redeeming rewards.

It is important to note that Bing Rewards does offer a simple affiliate program to its users.

Basically, you earn 150 credits if a friend you have introduced to Bing Rewards becomes a silver member.

You are however, limited to referring only up to 5 friends.

I’m guessing this is to stop people from creating fake accounts for extra credits. This seems reasonable, but it also prevents people from earning any real decent cash from Bing Rewards.

What Rewards Can You Get with Bing?

So What is The Verdict on Bing?

Bing Rewards is a great tool to make some extra pocket change on the side.

This is especially true for people who already use Bing search engine.

Even if you prefer the likes of Google, I still think it is worth making a few searches everyday on Bing, to get those credits for a gift card.

You can always use those gift cards for an emergency present for your friends or family.

However, if you are looking for a way to make an actual salary from Bing Rewards, then you are looking at the wrong system.
