High Traffic Academy Review: What is High Traffic Academy?
High Traffic Academy is a series of training videos that teach online marketers how to build a list with certain traffic generation methods.
It’s all about creating landing pages and then sending traffic to those pages.
You’ll also learn some tricks to boost conversions.
It’s not exactly a new system, email marketing has been around for a long time.
Nevertheless, I have to admit, the training is rather in-depth, and the production is professional.
I particularly liked the over-the-shoulder view of Vick’s campaigns in action.
There is definitely a lot of value in this course, which we’ll talk about later on in this review.
In fact, I wouldn’t hand over my credit card details unless I knew, without a doubt, that a product can benefit me or my business.
Most products nowadays are re-hashed versions of other products.
High Traffic Academy Cost:
So how much does High Traffic Academy cost?

You should also know that the traffic methods are not free, it’s paid traffic, and the money for your campaigns has to come from your pocket.

What I Liked
As I mentioned earlier, I liked the videos, and the layout was simple and easy to access.
The videos load fast and there is a lot of valuable information that you can learn from the videos.
For instance, there’s a module all about how to boost conversions with copy-writing and psychology tricks.
I think the training is decent, but I wouldn’t say that it justifies the price.
This is not completely mind-blowing tricks that can’t be found anywhere else. I also liked the website development tips.
What I Didn’t Like
I immediately noticed a few things that I didn’t like:
The first, and probably most important, is that the creator of this product, Vick Strizheus is also Vitaliy Strizheus; they’re the same person.
On that note, he was charged with insurance fraud, and a lot of his programs, like Big Idea Mastermind, are just massive scams.

As you can see, these products aren’t exactly the most useful products online.
In fact, almost all of them have crazy price tags and provide little value.
So, I’m not sure if it’s a good idea to pay for a program that was created by someone who was convicted of fraud and was involved in a project (Global Success Club) that was shutdown by the police.
But, of course, if a person chooses to change, he or she can.
Let’s look at some other aspects of this product that need improvement.
High Traffic Academy: It’s Too Expensive!
I didn’t like how this product was so expensive.
Most of the people who are interested in making money online don’t have a lot of cash, and are looking for ways to expand their income because they desperately need more cash.
It wouldn’t be right to force desperate people to buy into such an expensive program that does not guarantee income.
At least, it doesn’t feel right.
You should also know this course has an affiliate program that allows members to become affiliates for a commission fee.
And that’s what most people do (that’s why it’s hard to find a negative review about the product).
You also need money to buy traffic, which can be rather expensive.
So the bottom line is not only do you have to drop hundreds of dollars a month but you also have to buy the tools you need.

The training material has not been updated since 2012; a lot can change in 3 years!
No Community
There’s no forum for members to share ideas, network, and help one another. There is a Facebook page but it has not been updated in a few years. I thought that was one downside.
Final Word On High Traffic Academy
High Traffic Academy does have some useful training videos, I think that’s one part of this product that is great.
However, there is still a lot of room for improvement. I wouldn’t say that this product is a scam but I also don’t recommend it.
It’s one of those over-priced products, like Empower Network, that does not include a lot of value. I don’t recommend this program.
I know what you’re probably wondering; if this doesn’t work, what does?

I hate these traffic deals where you are spending hundreds and HUNDREDS each month and you are not even MAKING PROFITABLE SALES, but just paying and paying for traffic as you try to make your first 10,000 subscribers where THEY SAY you become profitable…
But those 10K subscribers can wind up costing you $30,000, as you also pay for traffic and tools costing some $200+/month !!
WEALTHY AFFILIATE:
One problem I had with WA was their chatroom method of getting questions answered.
I would ask questions and they would be ignored while other people covered up MY posts with theirs!
I would also get erroneous and flippant non-answers, all coming from chat room members that didn’t know much more than I….
Of course this also took plenty of TIME and causing mental frustrations in dealing with this!
Is there a way at WA you can simply IMMEDIATELY take your question to COMPETENT support personnel and get a complete, useful and TIMELY answer?

Thank you so much for your kind feedback on my website, that’s much appreciated. Most of the traffic systems cost a lot of money and aren’t even teaching how to build real, authentic traffic that’s targeted to your niche.
Instead, they’re teaching you to use their funnels to build your list at an accelerated level and many times are self-promoting systems. Most all of them don’t teach you how to build sustainable traffic. At least that’s been my experience after reviewing hundreds of internet marketing products online.
There are a couple of other solid internet marketing training programs that might be a better fit for you than wealthy affiliate. But in my opinion, and after being a member there for over 5 years, seeing the good and the bad, I think that wa is the best training and and value for teaching you exactly how to build quality traffic to your website.
They take a holistic approach so that you are incorporating social marketing, pay per click advertising but the main focus is on creating organic targeted traffic that’s based on your niche or topic of your website.
They also will teach you how to rank that content and expand upon traffic through YouTube video marketing and like I said pay per click advertising if you want to take your business to that level.
That being said, they are not a perfect platform. They have their faults and I just made a post the other day that pointed out a big one within their Administration aspect. But out of all the companies I’ve seen and reviewed I think they have done a spectacular job of always trying to keep their platform at the top level in terms of updated knowledge and trainings. As well as striving to create a platform that’s easy for people to make an online business and get quick support when you need it. So I think that’s super awesome, especially when you’re first starting out your online business and have a ton of questions.
Plus with lightening fast hosting with SSL certification, free keyword research tool, tons of amazing community support, and direct feedback and support from the owners and mentors, I think it’s still the top platform out there. Especially for new marketers.
Now the negative points you mention about people with inexperience helping you out is valid. I think what happens is that so many people get excited about the training and they want to share the knowledge that they learn and sometimes it’s incomplete and other times it’s wrong. But I think for the most part I think you get quality feedback and suggestions from other members.
And to avoid the chatter, I would encourage you to sign up to wealthy affiliate with a really solid mentor.
You can of course use my affiliate link and I’m very active on the platform and keep an eye out on my new students and their questions, but the big focus should be on the actual training.
You see the error that I think a lot of new students make is that when they come into the idea of creating their own online business, they have all kinds of their own mental concepts of what that should look like. So they have probing questions and sometimes those questions are very complicated and tough to answer. Or they’re not the right Focus the student should be concentrating on.
Instead, I think you should go into it with a little bit of blind faith and just start taking classes. Obviously you have to get your own niche established first. And I don’t like the fact that wealthy affiliate promotes people to promote wealthy affiliate so quickly or the affiliate marketing niche / online money making niche. Instead I think you should spend some time and make sure you have the right niche that you love. Because you’re going to be writing and focusing a lot of energy and time on your online business so it’s super important that you love it. You should love the topic or should at least want to learn more of the topic that you are discussing. Right?
So I would definitely look at the weekly webinars section to see what cureent webinars and past webinars might apply to your business. But the main focus should be going on through the entire online entrepreneurial program and completing that to your best ability.
Learn how to build websites, do keyword research, bring in free and organic traffic and create online sales that occur 24/7.

Question is how can I be sure you are not like the others? The reason being EVERY affiliate program says the same thing that you are saying….”we will not rip you off…you will get to learn real stuff….no fluff…blah..blah….we are most authentic…out there”
Basically you are using the same tactics that others use to convince customers to join their affiliate program.
I see you are offering the websites package…which means later we pay for more sites, hosting and on-going maintenance…..WHY don’t you teach newbies on a very tight budget that there are ways to create FREE websites and landing pages???
Then you are saying 30 searches for (free membership)…well….WHY are you not helping us by showing us that there are FREE keyword tools out there..like…Google AdWords….Ubersugggest….SEmRush….Basically you are charging $50/month..others charge $37/month

I think there’s some confusion here and let me see if I can clear some things up.
I promote all the things that I use to see online success and that provide the best value to other students looking to build an online business.
Wealthy Affiliate is the best value for most every student except if you’d prefer to drop ship on Amazon, if that’s the case, check out these guys.
But eCommerce is expensive and so to start an online business in the most economical and efficient way, I recommend niche websites/authority sites/blogs via affiliate marketing and email marketing. You can add eCommerce later, but the focus is on building traffic.
The way we do this for FREE is by writing quality content and using White Hat SEO skills to rank that content. That’s how you found my site by googling keyword phrases about High Traffic Academy – Correct!
I learned how to rank content and build a site through a real education. It didn’t cost me $1,000’s of dollars to learn these skills, but I did have to pay for my classes.
I used Wealthy Affiliate because it’s got the best training, tools, and value for the PRICE.
You can join for free to check them out, first month is $19, after that it’s $49/month or buy yearly and that’s under $30/month.
That’s less than a dollar a day. How does that stack up to High Traffic Academy or any other internet marketing programs?
Websites and Keyword Tools:
You get 25 free sites at WA. I wouldn’t recommend using a free site to build your business for many reasons (see this post for details why).
You also get to host for FREE up to 25 websites that you own the domain name. That’s cool, you can run a local seo business for clients with the ability to host 25 sites for free. That NEVER CHANGES, there’s no Up-Sells at WA.
Jaaxy is the keyword tool i use because I use a lot more features than you get from any free keyword tool. Look at the price of SEM Rush compared to Jaaxy if you want a comprehensive keyword tool, again it comes back to value.
But Wealthy Affiliate also provides a free keyword tool so you don’t need it if you’re just getting start out online.
Realistically, you can run an online business for a couple bucks a day. Read this post to see how long it takes and you can see my daily expense breakdown (at that time).
It was like $2.70 per day or something using WA, Jaaxy, Aweber. How’s that compare for a site that’s making full time income?
Kamran, you can totally learn everything to create an online business for free, our Free Training Course will give you tons of free skills that I use to make money online every day, but that doesn’t mean that’s the best route to take.
Having a proven path with task based steps to complete that keep you on track is the best way to achieve success online.
It’s the path I took and 1,000’s of others as well. WA has been around for over 13 years now, so if you decide that you want to take advantage of training, they’re definitely the way to go in my opinion.

Perhaps you’d like to read our review of Project Breakthrough first. The system is landing pages and funnels at close to $300/mo. In order to be successful, you will have to be able to learn to create successful landing pages that funnel people into you email opt in. Then you will have to be able to offer helpful content via emails and eventually (after building trust) with your email audience, you’ll be able to sell them products related to whatever niche you’re promoting.
So the bottom line is you’ll need to be able to invest a good 6 months, $300/mo for the training, and then around $1,000/mo for Pay Per Click campaigns with Facebook or Google. So you’re looking at a lot of cash.
My favorite method that I use to make money online every day, almost passively, is through building niche based affiliate websites. This is much better in my mind because you can have your online business up and running including the education, keyword research tool, with much better support and guidance to build a successful long-term online business for less than $100/mo.

I am a member of project breakthrough and HTA. My honest advice as I am full-time into the online business, go through the 14 days training program. It is absolutely free. Make your decisions whethe or not to join the program at the end of the training, you will make an informed decision. Do not be afraid.. at least to learn from others. Do not be afraid to take risks in life. Take educated risks. I did not have huge success in the begining because I was still learning and am still learning. So be patient with yourself and don´t be quick in judging others. The owners are in business for a long time now… if they were to be scams.. they would not have been in the online world. They are genuine people and they have people on stage with them like Bob Proctor, Les Brown and many others. Go for it.

That’s really good advice as far as money expectations and having to risk your time and have to be willing to work and take action to be able to make money online.
But you my friend got hosed. You’re paying a ton of money each month for high traffic academy and project breakthrough. I’ve reviewed both these product and can’t recommend high traffic academy nor PB because of all their high costs for an inferior training program.
You paid a one time $450 with HTA and now you’re paying $597/mo between both high traffic academy and project breakthrough. Not to mention the amount you’ll need for PPC advertising.
And the training is far inferior compared to Wealthy Affiliate’s Training Center which would have cost you nothing to join, $19 for the first month, then $49/mo after that. Or you can pay $359 for the whole year and get access to all the webinars, two incredible structure courses that would teach how to rank content versus trying to spam websites with your affiliate link. Bad move.

You’ll first learn affiliate marketing through creating a niche site based on something that you are passionate about, know well, or are interested in. There’s millions of niche ideas to explore.
This is the lowest risk method and least inexpensive method to begin online. But you’ve got to be willing to learn and work at building your business for a while without immediately making money.
And this concept is what most people struggle with and why products like Project Breakthrough attract a lot of inexperienced (to no experience) marketers. Fast cash in 14 days – That’s ridiculous!
The only way to make fast cash online like that is by selling on Amazon or eBay.
You can sell used stuff fast, but this as a long term business model is much more risky and takes deep pockets to get off the ground.

I’ve never really explored Site Sell. I know they have a lot of eCommerce business related technology products and their main product is Site Build It (SBI). This type of site builder does not work with Wealthy Affiliate WordPress builder, SiteRubix.
As a matter of fact, I have heard that SBI is poor for indexing and ranking in Google, which many drag and drop website builders have a reputation for being so.
WordPress offers plugins that allow for eCommerce functionality. But at this time, I just do affiliate marketing and advertising to make money online and I prefer these methods due to less risk, customer interaction/returns, and the fact that I don’t have to buy merchandise.
I do recommend Shopify for eCommerce sites as well as they have the best reputation from my experience. What you gain at Wealthy Affiliate that you won’t find anywhere else is in-depth training on how to rank website content that people are searching Google for everyday. This allows you to get organic traffic to your site for free that’s already looking for the type of eCommerce products you sell.
So Wealthy Affiliate can teach you is how to SEO you site, keyword research, Google/YouTube rankings and build your own WordPress website and you can get the eCommerce functionality you like.
I’ve always said that if you want to do eCommerce, go with Shopify and Wealthy Affiliate for their superior SEO training. Or do Wealthy Affiliate along with an eCommerce plugin like WooCommerce.

I think I caught a snippet of this High Traffic Academy opportunity a while back on youtube.
There was this guy offering exactly what you are presenting in your review and the traffic is indeed paid. His claim for always buying traffic was that there is no way you can get high quality traffic otherwise.
Says who? What about free organic traffic from the engines?
Absolutely George. You are so correct. And what’s better when you use keyword phrases that people are actually Googling on a regular basis, you get your content to rank very easily and it’s based on what people are already searching for. So it’s extremely targeted and tailored for your niche audience.
It’s funny how much poor quality of information there is online about how to make a successful online business. But the truth of the matter is that there is exactly this information available and at one’s disposal at the Wealthy Affiliate Training Center.
If you want to become successful with an online business, then you should definitely hook up with Wealthy Affiliate and get educated. The training isn’t that hard to learn, but you need to be willing to put it into action.
Having an online business is awesome if you know how it’s done. I just feel lucky that I found Wealthy Affiliate when I did and didn’t get suckered into investing into a program like High Traffic Academy.

I think I’m going to pass on high traffic academy due to the lack up updated training and excessively high cost. I also wanted to let you know that I check out Wealthy Affiliate’s free starter membership and I couldn’t be more happy with what I have seen.
Actually, I would have never guessed that such a program exists. Such supportive community and the classes are easy to follow and apply to my new site. Since I started with a free account and I’m using a siterubix free site, my question to you is should I buy a domain name or go with the free site.

You’ve made an excellent decision for you online career. Wealthy Affiliate is easily the best place to start for those that are new to building online businesses. And really, when you look at the webinars, community support, and 1,000’s of hours of various internet marketing training’s they have, Wealthy Affiliate is a one stop shop for any online entrepreneur.
As for you question. Buy a domain name, you can get one for under $15/year. If you’re building content on a fee site and then decide to buy a domain name, you can’t use that content on your first (Free) site because Google will consider it duplicate content. So rather spending lots of time building out your free site, pony up the $15 dollars and get a domain name. BTW, Wealthy Affiliate also offer domain names without up-sells and if you go Premium (which you should definitely do if you’re really going to build an online business) then you’ll also get free cloud hosting for up to 50 sites.

I was considering joining High Traffic Academy but before making my decision, I was checking reviews and getting as much info as possible. This is how I found your review and am glad I did!
As a newbie to online marketing, the concept of an “academy” sounded attractive, which is probably why the name was chosen. I have now watched the first 6 training sessions of Project Breakthrough, the new High Traffic Academy product, and even with my limited experience, I can hear the warning bells ringing!
I have found inconsistencies in the training content, as well as misleading statements about the program being “free”. Yes PB itself is free, but in order to follow the program as outlined by Nick, you need to be an High Traffic Academy Elite member ($297/month) in order to be able to make the “big bucks”.
For me in Canada, that cost would translate into about $400 monthly! I would have to receive substantial value in order to justify forking out all that money, and based on what I’ve seen so far, the value is not there. Most of what’s been presented in the first 6 sessions is just basic info that can be obtained for free elsewhere.
To be fair, I should mention that High Traffic Academy offers a full 30 day money back guarantee, with no questions asked. At least this is what I was told. I hope it’s true, however one has to wonder…
I had pretty well made up my mind about High Traffic Academy before I read your review as well as others with similar conclusions.

I can agree that Vic knows what he’s doing as an online marketer, but when it comes to his teaching it’s very easy to get off track.
I was a student of his once and was surprised to see that in order for his method to work I’d have to spend an upwards of a couple grand on just one PPC campaign!
That’s how he gets his ad campaigns for much cheaper than they typically are, which in my opinion is not a good way for any beginning marketer to get started online.

You can spend a lot of money on PPC campaigns and not get anything in return. Most PPC is really not made for conversions but to get people in your opt in email campaigns. Then slow drip them content with the occasional sales pitch.
This can be an expensive process and you can just as good if not better results providing quality content based on helping your reader. The more content that you produce that’s based on warm keywords that your niche audience is already searching is a quicker method of conversion in my experience.
Getting someone to come to your site that’s already searching a very specific topic returns much better results.

I came across Vick Strizheus a couple of years ago when I was looking to see what was available in the earning money online niche. At the time, Vic was already promoting High Traffic Academy. I thought he seemed like a genuine sort of person and I almost joined the program. Luckily after a little research, I found some negative reports about him and the programs he was involved in. I can certainly understand how newbies can be taken in by these so called experts.
This program doesn’t seem to be the worst of his productions, although the price is way over the top considering you can find most of the information for free. Did you look at the elite membership, I wonder what the hell you get for that price?
I was lucky enough to find your recommended program, Wealthy Affiliate, just after looking at High Traffic Academy. For someone thinking of starting an online business, I think it’s the best program around.

I appreciate you kind feedback on High Traffic Academy and glad you made the right choice by going with Wealthy Affiliate. I have no doubt that Vick Strizheus has a good understanding of internet marketing and probably a better salesman than most, but he is charging a hefty price for a minimum amount of training’s in comparison with Wealthy Affiliate.
Plus, most of these gurus make it sound so easy to take their overpriced program and be successful. They don’t want to tell you that you better be ready to learn, take action, and really work with a steady determination. Instead it’s all about fast results. And unfortunately, this just doesn’t happen and in most cases can be extremely risky, especially if your new and starting out with PPC.
Not the best advice for most people. And I agree with you Peter, if you want to be successful online, go with the guys at Wealthy Affiliate that have been teaching people how to do just that for over a decade, not a guy who’s been associated with scams in the past.

Great review about High Traffic Academy Todd!
When I heard that name Vick Strizheus I instantly remembered back to 2013 when I was first looking into starting a business online. I had come across a few of his videos and was introduced to Big Idea Mastermind and Empower Network and I was considering joining.
Fortunately while doing further research I discovered Wealthy Affiliate and I started following their training and I haven’t looked back! 🙂
You have certainly outlined some very good reasons NOT to join high traffic academy and I totally agree with all of them!

It’s tough to understand with many of these internet marketing programs whether there’s value in the training as well as if the cost is reasonable for what you receive.
I’ve seen many internet marketing companies that offer the same product, only one is charging 5K and the other is charging a reasonable price. As you know, it pays to do your research before plunging into a program.
Wealthy Affiliate is great because there always updating their training, improving their training platform, and the owner and the community care about your success in the online world.
I’ve been working with WA for almost 2 years and I can still contact the owners anytime to have them take a look at a landing page, PPC campaign, or just get some general feedback on my site and campaigns.
Wealthy Affiliate is an amazing training program, and hopefully the more people looking into High Traffic Academy will find Wealthy Affiliate instead.

If they claim to be an academy, they should have a good coaching system and support. But like you said, the training materials itself are rarely updated.

I was checking into high traffic academy when I found your review.
It’s always great when I come across a review of a web based community, like high traffic academy, that proclaims to be “all that” and find that the author has the same bad feeling or understanding of the program.
Finding out even more damaging information about the owners somehow satisfies me to know that I was right about them. It’s gotten to the point now that I can spot a scam a mile away.
