What is Hideout.tv?
Hideout.tv is a video platform, similar to YouTube, that offers high quality content, multiple reaction options, exclusive content, and the chance to earn rewards. The rewards feature brings most of the people to Hideout.tv, and it will be the focus of this article. The main way to earn money with Hideout.tv is by watching videos.

There are other offers too, such as surveys, downloading apps, bonuses, referrals, and other tasks. The videos will reward you with a certain number of points, depending on how many ads load on the videos you watch. You will only earn points if the video loads an ad.
Is Hideout.tv a Scam?
After careful research and tests, I can confirm Hideout.tv is not a scam. I have been able to earn points watching videos which I was able to redeem for gift cards. However, it's not exactly a get-rich quick opportunity, and the income might not be worth it for most people. Let's take a closer look at how it works.
How it Works (Important):
Before you head over to Hideout.tv, there are some important things you need to know. For starters, while you can create an account and watch videos for free, you can't redeem your points from Hideout.tv.
You have to link your Hideout.tv account to one of their Loyalty Rewards Partner's websites, and then use that second platform to redeem the points for exclusive rewards. The type of rewards you can redeem will vary depending on what the platform has available, but you can expect gift cards or even PayPal cash.
Hideout.tv can be linked to a number of GPT platforms, however the most popular seems to be GG2U. The payouts are about the same across the board, but GG2U has a more reliable customer support. GG2U also supports payments via PayPal with the minimum being $7, which is lower than other sites.
Other Hideout.tv Loyalty Rewards Partners:
- instaGC
- Gain.org
- PrizeRebel
- RewardsXP
You can accumulate points in your Hideout.tv account and transfer them to one of the above platforms to exchange them for rewards later on. If you use that method, remember each platform has a different conversion ratio, which I'll get into later on.
In most cases, transferring the points to another platform only takes a few minutes, but it depends on the platform. There have been some cases where points are lost, which is why some people say Hideout.tv is a scam. I suggest using GG2U because their customer support seems to be highly responsive.
How to Use Hideout.tv:
There are three ways you can use Hideout.tv. The easiest would be to head over to Hideout.co in your web-browser. The second is to use their app which is available on Google Play and Amazon App Store.
The advantage of using an app is you can earn points on your phone while out and about. Lastly, the final way to use Hideout.tv is through a partnered website, such as the ones mentioned earlier. Some Android devices like Amazon's Fire Stick are also compatible with Hideout.tv. Unfortunately the apps don't have good reviews.
Earning Points:
The easiest way to earn points is by watching videos. The videos will only reward you with points when an ad loads. Most videos pay between 1 - 4 points. The total number of points will be listed on the video next to the reaction bar.

Another way to boost your points is to you use your Daily Promo Code. These are added to your account on a daily basis and they give you a bonus 9 points. One point worth mentioning is you can use Hideout.tv on up 3 devices at the same time, so that's an easy way to earn more points.

How Much Can You Earn with Hideout.tv?
Wondering how much money you can earn with Hideout.tv? It's hard to say because you have to convert Hideout.tv points to a separate platform's point system, and then use their rewards page to redeem an offer.
As you might have guessed, the conversion rate varies depending on the platform you choose, and not every platform has the same rewards. For example, some offer PayPal cash while others only offer gift-cards, and so on. Not to mention each platform has their own point to dollar conversion rate. But I'll give you an example.
The easiest to understand would be GG2U because it also uses points. 10 Points on Hideout.tv equals about 1 Point on GG2U. To cash out $7 (the minimum) on GG2U you will need 700 GG2U points or 7,000 Hideout.tv points.
As you can imagine, it'll take a long time to earn 7,000 points on Hideout.tv. I wouldn't expect to earn more than 1,000 points a day which is equal to about $1.
Is Hideout.tv Worth It?
If you're not desperate for cash, and you want to try something new, Hideout.tv is worth it. I liked how you can watch videos from multiple devices at the same time.
The point redemption process is a little tricky and I would prefer if they could let you redeem points directly from the site. Overall, Hideout.tv is not a scaan interesting way to earn some pocket change by watching funny or interesting videos. =
