Can you really trust this site to pickup some extra income? Is Mommy Jobs Online a scam?
As any mom can testify, taking care of the kids at home is a full-time job.
But there are times, when the kids are asleep and the house is quiet, when you wish you could make some extra cash.
That’s where Mommy Jobs Online comes into the picture, it’s a portal for jobs that can be completed remotely online.
These portals are quite popular, and unfortunately, a lot of them turn out to be scams.
So this begs the question, is Mommy Jobs Online a Scam?
In this review, we’ll do our best to answer that question as well as provide you with some tips to earn cash from home.
Mommy Jobs Online Review:
Product Name: Mommy Jobs Online
Product Type: Platform for Work at Home Opportunities
Price: Membership varies depending on the “Job Banks” you want to browse (access to all five “Banks” costs $210)
Founder: Unknown
Summary: Mommy Jobs Online is an online database that provides the user leads to various online jobs. Unfortunately, the job database is outdated and most of the jobs on this platform can already be found online for free without paying the Finder Fee that Mommy Jobs Online charges.
Rating: 10/100

What is Mommy Jobs Online?
Essentially, it’s a platform you can use to find remote online work.
It scraps various forums and job-boards for listings and lists them all within the member’s area.
In short, the company is an employment agent; they’ll find jobs for you and earn a fee.

In some cases, hiring an agent to find jobs that fill your areas of expertise can be a smart move.
But in the online world, things can be a little different.
It’s always best to be cautious when signing up for work at home opportunities.
To join Mommy Jobs Online, a one-time payment is required.
There are six categories or “Job Banks” and you can either pay to access all of them or each one individually.
Below is a screenshot of the prices:

Reminder: These fees are one-time only life time access, there are no reoccurring fees.
As you can see, most of these categories don’t require that much experience.
Of course, this doesn’t guarantee any income.
The platform will only provide you with job offers – it’s up to you to send out your resume and get hired.
In other words, this platform provides you with some job leads, nothing else.
What are Member’s Saying?
To get an idea of what a program is like, it’s always a good idea to ask the current members.
Surprisingly, there’s not much information about this company online or reviews from current members.
Either people will say it’s a life-changer or they’ll say its a scam.
There seems to be no middle ground.
Let’s take a look at some comments:
Julie: “I Highly recommend if you are having trouble finding a legitimate job from home and don’t mind paying a small fee to become a LIFETIME member with this company. I applied online with Mommy Jobs Online last year and have been successfully working for them from home full-time as Virtual Recruiter. I also use their remote job bank registry to find out about other work at home jobs in the customer service job field in which most of my job experience is in for the past 14 yrs.”
This message was posted on an online forum, followed by a series of comments from curious people. The original creator of the post seemed to vanish, as most of the questions were left unanswered.
Below is a comment from the same forum, claiming Mommy Jobs Online is a scam.
“I absolutely would NOT advise using Mommy Jobs. They are NOT professional, take your money, and then you never hear from them again. I have had many years of medical transcription experience and yet never got one single answer from them. Don’t be fooled, they are no help whatsoever!”
Some other people mentioned the company often shares outdated job listings, which are completely pointless as the positions have already been filled.
Mommy Jobs Online is also listed on the BBB but they have 5 complaints and 0 official reviews.
Why aren’t the members talking more about the platform?
Not a good sign.
Should You Hire an Employment Agent?
If you’re down on your luck and need to make some fast cash, is it a good idea to hire an employment agent?
In my opinion, unless you are in a very competitive and niche field, it’s not a good idea to hire an employment agent.
Most of the jobs advertised on Mommy Jobs Online can be found elsewhere, for free.
Or you can sign-up to a freelance marketplace such as Up-work and find identical offers.
If you need fast cash, the best way to earn some is to sell something online, on eBay or Amazon.
You can do that from home.
Unfortunately that’s not the best long-term solution to produce consistent, full-time income online at home.
However, this is…
Your Dream Job From Home: It Does Exist!
If you really want to…
- Work from home
- Set your own schedule
- And make great money online…
– You won’t find that with online job websites.
Instead, consider an approach that 1,000’s of mom’s have been using for over a decade to successfully work from home.
What’s their secret?
By creating simple niche websites and using affiliate marketing, mom’s have been able to bring in..
- extra cash
- full time income
- and even passive income online.

Is Mommy Jobs Online a Scam?
Getting back on track, is Mommy Jobs Online a Scam?
I don’t believe it’s a scam but the quality of jobs definitely needs some work.
Its also not an ideal solution for people who are desperate for quick cash.
The platform only links you to offers, no guarantee of income.
In fact, chances are the offers have already been filled by more experienced workers.
In my opinion, it’s best to avoid this platform and focus on creating your own business.
Can You Make Real Money Online? Absolutely…
How Do I Make Money Online?
It’s quite simple. I followed a step by step training course. One that’s been helping online entrepreneurs like you and me for over a decade.
How’d I do it?
I found a cool niche idea. Followed the classes and within a month I had my own online business working and starting to bring in cash.
It wasn’t massive to start out with, but I noticed that my income continued to expand beyond the original work I put in.
Meaning that I got paid repeatedly for the work I did once.
Now it just grows and grows and grows!
Pretty Cool in my Opinion!
What’s better is that you can do it too.
Our recommended training will take you by the hand and show you how to build a successful online business from scratch, without any experience.
It’s the exact same training 1,000’s of moms have used to break free and create their dream job from home!
By reading the title Mommy jobs, I thought about the jobs for moms. But, had no clue it is a job portal. Never heard it before. Anyway, thanks for the review, Todd. I feel your idea about starting a niche blog was a lot better.
Awesome Nirmal, thanks for your feedback and absolutely, creating a simple niche blog is a much easier way to start making money online.

Do you think that the Wealthy Affiliate program here in Athens, Greece will work???
I have been scammed from two companies:
1) TypeAtHome,com – I paid them 30$
2) Make-N-Dollars,com – I paid them 50$ (which means here in Greece is 56 euro).
I have been trying to find decent jobs from the Internet without success because I am a mom at home raising my children.
Thank you for taking the time and reading the above message.
Oh my goodness Olga, how could you not already be at Wealth Affiliate.
WA is fine for Greece. The bigger question, once you’ve found your niche, is if your affiliate supports payment to your country.
Usually all you need is a PayPal account.
Amazon works well to start out, so I don’t see why not.
But yeah, Wealthy Affiliate sounds like your new home, sign up under the Free Starter Membership and I’ll be sending you some messages on how to get started and so forth.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Todd
As a stay at home mom I recommend “Medical Coding” as a wonderful work from home option. Yes, you will need training. You can’t just code medical records without having proper training. However, this is a real and promising career. I used to work for “Career Step” and they have an awesome Medical Coding course.
Careerstep.com
Their training is done online and is self-paced. You could finish the program in 4 months but 6 months is probably more realistic. They do however give you up to a year to get it all done. Their program is approved by the American Health Information Management Association and the American Academy of Professional Coders. They work with companies such as CIOX Health, Lexicode, OS2-HCS, TrustHCS, Inovalon, Mckesson that hire their grads to work from home right out of the program.
The average salary for this career is about $40,000. Their entire program including books, instructors and job assistance is around $3,000 and they offer sweet payment plans.

I highly recommend Rat Race Rebellion for a web site to find work at home opportunities. It was created by Christine Durst & Michael Haaren who have been helping people find work from home jobs since 1999. They do all the research and only post 100% legitimate work from home jobs on their web site and unlike the Mommy web site, theirs is absolutely free with no hidden anything.
Hi Nikki.
I was wondering if you have some advice for a stay-at-home Mom for many years who is interested in a work at home opportunity. I have a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and worked in that area many years ago. I ended up working in the Customer Service Area for several years until I had children. I am wondering if Rat Race Rebellion hires people that haven’t worked for a long time. Any insight, advice you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Lisa Anne
Thank you Todd for taking the time to investigate this company, and doing it so thoroughly.
There are some job websites that aren’t scams. But I was really curious about this one because they send me an email a couple of times a day. Now I can check them off my list.
Awesome Janice, thanks for your feedback on Mommy Jobs. Take care, Todd
Hi Todd, I’m not familiar with Mommy Jobs Online but I do know about being cautious with scams pretending to be real. It seems there are a lot of sites (and apps) that either start up promising then get abandoned or just aren’t what they’re promising to be in the first place. With so many websites out there it’s really hard to trust them.
I always do my research and thanks to people like you we can go into our passion informed and educated. It’s unfortunate that some people have to try these sites and fail so that others can succeed but I’m really glad you’re helping to minimize the negative impact these scams make in general and help steer people into something positive instead. Great job.
Thanks Andy, that’s great feedback and advise. Everyone wants the fast track to success and I get it, but in general, you got to be careful online.
It’s the wild wild west so to speak.
For those out there that need a path to online success, check out our free eCourse on internet marketing and get the information you need to know before you spend any money.

Todd
Hi Todd,
There are a growing number of people who want to work from home and also a growing number of programs that encourage this.
With so many programs on the internet, it is difficult to tell what is legit and what is a scam.
Unfortunately, some people do not find out until it is too late.
Mommy Jobs doesn’t sound like the thing for me. Can you give me some solid resources?
Thank you so much for the review.
Hi Krissy,
Making money online is happening and growing daily. 1,000’s of people are breaking free of their jobs, locations, and making a different kind of livelihood.
It’s been happening for a long time, but now it’s more of a reality with training programs out there.
I felt just like you when I got started. I had the time and resources, I just didn’t know how to get started.
I did one thing well. I investigated. I googled the hell out of any program I came up with and finally found the gents at Wealthy Affiliate.
I’m still a member and don’t ever see myself not being a member, they’ve done a great job creating an online business training that like an online university.
But the lessons are easy and anyone can do it if you are willing to learn and take action.
Thanks
Hi Todd. I appreciate you posting about mommy jobs online. If there is no guarantee of income like you mentioned and it only links you to offers, it doesn’t sound very trustworthy in my opinion.
In addition, I wonder what the rate of successfully receiving the offer is as you mentioned other more qualified individuals fill them. Thanks for the information, and I hope others find it useful too!
You bet Jeremy, from what I’ve gathered, Mommy Jobs doesn’t offer much of value, it’s an interesting business idea, but not one that I would be proud of since it doesn’t seem to really benefit it’s audience.
Thanks for the feedback
Todd,
I recently graduated with an associates degree in Medical Information Technology with an emphasis in medical coding (i.e., IDC-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS). Two months prior to graduating, I took on a full time CSR job at a well known outsourcing company. I love the job, but I am not for sure if being a call center consultant is what I want to do for the rest of my life (I am not for sure what I want to be when I grow up!)
Working at home would be a dream come true for me for so many reasons. After checking out mommyjobsonline.com, I got to thinking, “Is this website for real?” I then Googled: is mommy jobs online a scam? And whala, there was your article, “Is Mommy Jobs Online Line a Scam,” dated May 8, 2017! Thank you Todd for the information! I plan on checking out the Wealthy Affiliate’s education program to see if I can find my niche!
God bless and take care,
John Wayne Raleigh
Hi John,
I saw you signed up for WA and have sent you some messages to get started on the right track.
Thank you so kindly for your feedback on our Mommy Jobs Online review, much appreciated and glad this post has helped you out.
You’re on the right path now. Just remember to reach out to me or the community when you have questions or get stuck.
Those that ask questions see the most success. You’ll run into problems along the way and that’s normal, the ones that find solutions to problems are the ones that make it.
To your success John,
Todd
Sounds like a poor option to go with if looking for some different kind of work.
Sad, but there are so many scams out there. And then there are businesses like Mommy Jobs Online that just offer enough content behind it that they seem viable, but in essence people would be better served looking elsewhere.
Thanks for the review. Glad there are sites like yours that review ‘business opportunities’ like this one and call them out.
Awesome TD, thanks for the feedback on our Mommy Jobs Online review.
Cheers,
Todd
Ok, so this is a program that I could look into for extra cash. It is especially useful if you need cash in the short term. Do you have any idea how long they take to pay?
Is there immediate payment at the end of a job or is there a threshold before you get paid out?
Building a website is great, but it is for the long-term.
Hey Lesley, I’m not sure about the payout structure of Mommy Jobs Online. I wouldn’t recommend them and seems that they are a bit unreliable with their payouts per the feedback on this review.
Niche websites can take some time, it just depends on your perspective and what you perceive is value.
If you take it like a college education, you see the value when you can be making really good money versus collecting debt with more years of college ahead of you.
There is a few other approaches you can take to speed up the process.
1. Human Proof Designs offers Niche Affiliate Websites that are built for you. This speeds up the process but comes with a cost.
2. Check out Wealthy Affiliate’s latest webinar series.. Niche Website Case Study.
It’s about building product specific niche sites that are easier to rank, bring in traffic, ergo.. faster online sales.
The basic internet marketing education takes a month to understand. I did create this post for those that are interested.. How long does it take to make money online?
Hope this helps,
Todd
Hey Todd,
Mommy Jobs Online does not seem like a complete scam but it is not recommended in my opinion.
There are too many free places where you can get the same information so I understand what you are saying.
I do not think this place is worth anyone’s time. Can you tell me more about your recommendation?
Hey Kendrick, I can talk for hours about our #1 Recommended Training Program. But instead, I just linked the review and you can read all about them.
I’m a lifetime Wealthy Affiliate member for a multitude of reasons. It’s just too beneficial and cost effective, not to mention the weekly webinars and Site Rubix Platform.
So check out the links here and let me know if you have any other questions. Anyone with aspirations of creating a REAL ONLINE BUSINESS should be hooked up with WA.
Best,
Todd
Good information to know about these jobs from Mommy Jobs Online that could possible be scams.
A lot of mothers who stay at home seek many ways to find these online jobs and I say it can be tough. They are hopeful to find jobs that are legit and not scammed over.
I’ve seen many work from home jobs that definitely sound to good to be true and it’s sad how many scams are out there. Overall very well and informative site you got here.
Thanks Martin,
I appreciate your feedback on the review as well as my site. The key is to try to help people in a specific niche.
That and knowing how to contact that niche.
If you need any help with this, check out our free eBook on Targeting Niche Traffic.
It’s not a tough concept to understand. Find what your niche audience is searching and provide helpful information to them.
The white hat seo, keyword research, etc., is provided in the free eBook.

Hi Todd!
As I see in this Mommy Jobs Online review, they’re actually are asking you to pay so that you get job offers. Which you have to apply to with no guarantee you’re going to be selected for that position.
I really think it’s a scam program which takes advantage of naivee people who do not know they can do that search themselves on Google. It’s like paying Google to do searchs…
Thanks for your review on this one, Todd. I hope people see that it’s something they can actually do themselves for free if they take some time to look for opportunities online.
Nice assessment Israel. This is only all too common in any work environment. Those who package it up as a service aren’t necessarily scamming people, but it is a bunch of money for a very unreliable platform.
I guess I say this because I paid $1,000 for my first site when I could have built it with Wealthy Affiliate’s educational program in a week for less than 35 dollars.
But at the time, I was working on other aspects of that business and you learn your lessons in life.
Excellent points and advice, thanks.
Todd
