What is RapidWorkers?

RapidWorkers is a crowd-sourced GPT (Get-Paid-to) platform created by UnikScripts, Inc. The site links employers to a massive pool of workers.

Employers at RapidWorkers can create campaigns for almost any task. For example: clicks on your website, comments, like posts, register to trials, download files, and many others. As an employer, you can decide how much each worker will be paid for completing a task.

As a worker, you can earn some side income by completing very simple tasks. It's very similar to other micro-gig websites I reviewed in the past. But how much does it pay? Is it worth your time? Is there anything suspicious?

Is RapidWorkers Legit?

RapidWorkers is a legit website because they process payment requests within 48 hours, you're credited for each task, and the minimum payout is $8.  However, RapidWorkers has some issues with task quality, the payments are low, and many members have reported being banned for no reason.

The website has a lot of typos and the workflow process is a bit weird. Not to mention most of the tasks would fall into "spam" category. It's definitely not a premium micro-gig platform. But you can still use it to earn a little bit of cash here and there.

RapidWorkers Requirements:

RapidWorker's registration process is very simple. You can create an account with only a name, email address, and password. You don't need to make a separate account for creating campaigns, one account links to both the worker's side and the client side. Once inside, you'll immediately see a list of tasks to work on.

Follow the Rules:

Before you choose a task, it's important to review the rules. The most important one is you can't complete tasks that are not in your country. If the task is listed as "International" it's available for everyone. Look for tasks that are either in your region or labeled as international.

The tricky part is all the tasks are grouped together, even the tasks that are not in your country are shown in the same feed. It's easy to make the mistake of choosing a task that is in a different country, which could lead to an unfortunate account ban. Be careful.

Another quick reminder is that some of the jobs are a bit suspicious. I would avoid the jobs that require you to download files as they may contain viruses.

Fill in Your Physical Address:

While they don't require your address to register, you will have to fill it in to receive payments. The reason RapidWorkers needs your address is because they mail a PIN number to your home. The PIN is used to verify that you're a real person. Once verified, you can withdraw funds.

Upload Screenshot as Proof

Next to the instructions you'll see a text field that where you enter a screenshot. The screenshot should show you completed the instructions. You can't upload a screenshot directly to RapidWorkers. What you do is upload the screenshot to another site (IMGBB or Prnt.sc) and copy the attachment link.

Types of Tasks at RapidWorkers:

Once you're done with the account creation process, you can start working on micro-tasks. The good news is there are lots of tasks to choose from. The bad news is most of them are... a little strange.

For example, I came across one that wanted me to go to a website link, complete the tasks, and then submit proof of completion. Fair enough. So I clicked the link here's what they wanted:

  1.  Buy a Website Hosting Plan
  2.  Build a Website
  3.  Sign-up to Fiverr and Hire a Developer
  4.  Join a Traffic Exchange
  5. Share Original Blog Post with 10 websites

Can you guess the payment for that task? A grand total of $2 for all of it. They even made it clear in all-caps that if you don't complete all the tasks you won't receive the payment. No thanks. The sad news is most of the tasks are similar to that one, requiring lots of work for a few cents.

Let's try another one. I  clicked on another task and the link redirected me to this page:

A warning message from Bitly saying the URL has been flagged

Most of the tasks on RapidWorkers involve signing up to other platforms through affiliate links. I recognized some of the platforms too. I reviewed Rewards1 and Prizerebel, two that are mentioned in the orders below.

A screenshot of the work feed at RapidWorkers:

A screenshot showing the types of tasks at RapidWorkers

One example was an order for requesting users to sign-up to Swag Bucks and complete $3 worth of tasks to earn $0.20. The majority of the tasks are affiliate links to survey platforms and other websites. There are a handful of other tasks based on clicking on links, but most are borderline spam orders that aren't even do-able.

RapidWorkers is legit but the quality orders is not good.

Payments:

The only payment platform RapidWorkers uses is PayPal. No gift cards. You can request a payment once your account balance reaches $8. But you need to verify your physical address first.

They'll send a letter to your home with a PIN that you can use to verify that you're real. I did like how the minimum payout is low, and the company processes requests within 48 hours.

Is RapidWorkers Worth It?

To summarize, I wouldn't say RapidWorkers is a scam, but I don't recommend it as a way to earn some extra side income. As a worker, RapidWorkers is not worth it because there are too many non-doable tasks and the rate is not worth the effort. A better alternative to RapidWorkers is Amazon's Mechanical Turk.

An Even Better Alternative:

An even better alternative is to RapidWorkers is building your own online business. It sound challenging at first but once you learn the ins and outs, it's actually not that hard. With your own business, you can passively earn money and there's no limit to how far you can take the website. Want to learn more? Start a free trial at my favorite online training center.
