Summary: Here’s the thing: Traffic Authority is a multi-level marketing company that provides various traffic packages for marketers to use to promote their websites and businesses.
This company used to be called Infinite Leverage, it was shutdown, and Traffic Authority promptly took it’s place. That’s a red-flag right there. There’s much better internet traffic resources and online business training platforms than Traffic Authority.

What is Traffic Authority?
Traffic Authority is a company that sells traffic, business training and some marketing tools.
The core service this company provides is internet traffic.
And we’ll explain how it works later on in this review.
The reason this company has been growing in popularity is due to the multi-level marketing opportunity.
What You Need to Know about Traffic Authority:
Planning to buy into the program?
There are a few things that you need to know before you dive into the membership.
For starters, in order to promote their products as an affiliate, you’ll need to purchase the products.
This is a deal breaker for a lot of people, because these products can be really expensive (and there’s no guarantee that you’ll make your money back).
Notice The Immediate Encouragement To Buy Products – Are You a Salesperson for the Company or a Customer?
For instance, the basic package (and the cheapest) is $220, while the most expensive package is $4,290!
That’s quite a lot of money to spend for affiliate benefits!
With that in mind, the membership is free.
But you won’t be able to promote anything… unless you buy a product.
Still, the free membership lets you take a look around the website and member’s area to get a feel of how the business works.
Affiliate Marketing RED FLAG: You should never pay to be an affiliate for any company!
You are marketing someone else’s product – They pay you a commission for doing this, not the other way around.
This is how normal affiliate marketing works, with brand name products at Amazon, Home Depot, Apple, etc.
You should never pay to be an affiliate.
I’ve only seen internet marketing scams or MLM’s use this tactic.

In my opinion, that is the most important thing that you need to know about Traffic Authority.
Another important thing to keep in mind is that, like most MLM opportunities, one will need to excel at marketing and sales, otherwise your earnings will be really low!
How Does Traffic Authority Work?
So, the opportunity is this; member’s are given a commission for each product they sell as well as bonuses and other rewards.
I admit, the commissions are not terrible, and traffic packages are not the only deal that you can advertise.
There are tools and training material as well (including training for affiliates).
In other words, there’s a moderately sized catalog of products to promote.
If you sell a basic traffic package you’ll be given almost half of the total price; $100 (that’s not too bad).
The problem is that you need to qualify for affiliate benefits.
I already mentioned one way to qualify (buy the products) but there’s another way too; make three sales.
So, let’s say that you choose to sell the basic traffic package ($220) so you need to sell that package three times in order to qualify for commission payments.
Basically, making money for the company for free… just to be able to make more money for the company.
It doesn’t really make sense.
Unfortunately, that’s how most multi-level marketing businesses work.
I can’t vouch for the quality of the traffic that Traffic Authority provides.
Nevertheless, I can’t see why I would use this company for traffic, when there are other, much better, sources of traffic out there.
Like what? What is an easy way to drive traffic to your website?
Find people who are already interested in your products based on Google searches that are being made every second.
Luckily for you, I wrote an eBook about that.
What I Liked About Traffic Authority:
Digging deeper, I discovered a few things that I did like about this company.
First, they have some basic training videos that show marketers how to promote the company.
It’s also important to remember that when someone signs-up under you – you earn a percentage of his sales.
The idea is to build a team and make a profit from their profits.
Secondly, I appreciate the regular webinars.
There’s also a radio show that let’s members ask the creators questions, and different topics are discussed to provide more clarity.
It’s definitely not a dead community; the creators like to interact with members whenever possible.
Third, the traffic can be used to advertise your own affiliate links. What this means is that you can sell the company’s products with the company’s traffic, a loop.
Once again, I can’t vouch for the quality of the traffic, and there are numerous reports online, some positive and some negative.
Some customers claim the traffic is the highest converting traffic they found online while others say it doesn’t convert at all, I guess it depends on what you’re trying to promote.
If we play devils advocate here, the people who are praising Traffic Authority’s traffic might just be trying to sell more traffic packs.
Lastly, there are cheaper products that you can purchase (or sell) to acquire re-seller benefits.
Most of the Traffic Authority reviews mention that you have to buy all the traffic packages in order to start earning commissions, but that’s not true, all you have to do is buy at least one of the products or tools (the tools are cheap) and you can begin promoting it for commissions.

What I Didn’t Like:
With that in mind, this company still needs a lot of work, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone throwing their life savings into it, at the moment.
Here are some things we didn’t like:
The website does not provide a lot of details about the opportunity, it’s not very transparent.
What you get are promises of wealth – which is another red-flag!
But the main issue that I have with this product is the price.
Obviously the high-ticket products will grant you the best affiliate commissions, but you’ll have to pay the full-price to promote those products.
That means, at least a few thousand dollars!

In my opinion, that’s too much to spend on a company that is in the grey-area!
One Thing About Traffic:
We all know traffic is essential for any business, offline or online.
The cool thing with an online business is that it has somewhat limitless potential for traffic versus a specific physical location.
You can literally bring in 1,000’s of visitors to a website per day, per hour, and per second.
So whether you’re doing an affiliate marketing business or a MLM network marketing business, you can bring in tons of traffic to buy your products.
But you have to understand a couple of things:
Create engaging content for your niche audience.
Understand how low competition keywords work to easily rank content organically in search engines like Google and YouTube.
Convert that traffic to sales.
Using these techniques, I’ve learned how to bring traffic to my sites fast and for free.
Can you believe I have one post about selling on Amazon that currently brings over 6,000 new visitors to my site per month?
It works like a charm…
I know what you’re thinking:
This all sounds great, but terribly complicated. Surely an average person such as myself has no chance of creating a business like that.
That’s why you need access to a platform where everything you need is in one place; training videos, articles, tools, etc.

Conclusion on Traffic Authority
In a nutshell, Traffic Authority might be something to play around with for a bit, I don’t recommend it, but I don’t believe Traffic Authority is a scam either.
You can feel free to try it out and let me know how it goes; but I suggest that you don’t spend too much money on the products!
Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed the Traffic Authority Review!

Great Frencis, thanks for your feedback on our Traffic Authority Review, much appreciated.
As a new online marketer, I found some useful information and hints in your post. You said that one of the ways to get a good targeted traffic is by using low competition keywords.
Do you have more information regarding that? Where should I look for educative information regarding organic traffic as a whole?
Hi Manor,
I’ve got a great Free eBook on Targeting Traffic that I’d encourage you to check out.
It’s a short 5 to 10 minute read that can be used as a guide for every post you write. It works like a charm as long as you are producing quality content that helps out your niche audience.
If your site is new, it takes a good 20 posts before you see the effect of targeting organic traffic.
If writing is a pain, you can buy targeted articles in packages for a very decent price with Human Proof Designs.
Cheers,
Todd
Wow, right when you mentioned that you have to pay for the products first (not to mention expensive packages to make more money), unfortunately I was turned off right away.
I also don’t like the fact you have to sell a few before actually making commission. Definitely not a program I would join at this point. I’m sure there are a few that this program might work for, but I don’t think I’m one of them.
Thanks for the review!
You bet Jeremy, happy to help. Traffic Authority is not one our recommended programs either.
Best
Another review for a site that requires money for something that has no guarantees. The Traffic Authors report on paid traffic on your site, for which there are no guarantees and is sold under the cloak of a MLM.
What you get is a “cat in a bag” for thick money, why packages start at $220 and range up to several thousand dollars. As the author of this review says, first read this review, then subscribe if you want. Cheers.
Yeah Dragi, there’s not much value in the Traffic Authority. You certainly won’t get warm targeted traffic that’s ready to buy using these types of systems.
Just a bunch of clickers, what a waste of time and money. I prefer more profit for less work and time. You have to put in the initial stages, but you can get an online business to kick into auto pilot with the right training and work ethic.

Hey Todd; I think Traffic Authority is it a scam? Will I be able to use these packages to drive traffic to my website outside of traffic authority?
People who desire to become online marketers as well as those who are already online marketers should be wise enough to be cautious of the change of name. Scam or no Scam is there a valid reason for the name change?
Radio show and webinars are designed to strengthen confidence to it’s members, for one to take the bold step to invest $4,290.00 to become an affiliate to a company obviously, can deal with any challenge that might occur later in the company?
Nice points DorcasW, This type of business that Traffic Authority is using is nothing new. It usually wastes beginner marketers time and money when they should be focusing on solid training.
Those that wise up to this before getting burned out will do great, the others will go by the wayside.

Hi Todd, thanks for the review on Traffic Authority. I have never heard of this company before so it’s new to me. However, I’ll take your advice and have a look at their website to learn more about them.
I would like to know more about how they get their traffic.
excellent review,
Eric
Hi Eric,
Traffic Authority gets most of their traffic from pay per click advertising and social advertising. You actually can see hundreds of these types of programs on Facebook groups that pertain to making money online.
These programs really just provide poor information. Wasting money on traffic exchanges is the approach to take. You want to learn to target your niche traffic for whatever you want to sell online. And the fastest approach to that is through keyword knowledge on how to rank content fast.
And that’s learned here..
Thanks,
Todd
Hi Todd,
Excellent review of Traffic Authority, it intriged me to explore your site a bit. And after seeing your website, I have to consider my approach regarding my online business strategy. I’ve read a few of your posts and I found your site very informative.
All the tools, info and tips are there and are very usefull. I learned several new things for which I want to thank you.I wish you all the best with your online business, you’ve done a really good job.
Have a good day,
Mario
Hi Mario,
Thanks for your feedback on our Traffic Authority review and my website. It just takes time and work to really put together a good resource within your niche for your niche audience.
But it was fun and a great process to learn how to really create a successful online business, you’ll get there too. Just forget the money, focus on helping people, and let that guide your journey.
For the fast track to creating long term online success, go with the gents at Wealthy Affiliate. They have been my number one resource for online success. I’m a lifetime member, so that should say something as to how well of a training program it is.
Thanks again,
Todd
Hey Todd,
I’ve always been curious on companies that sell traffic, its like an easy way to attract people and I’m not sure if they are legit to begin with. I joined a few companies like this back then and all of them were scams.
Glad you exposed Traffic Authority for what they really are – an MLM scam. No matter how good their product is, all MLM companies are prone to destruction as their turnover rate is very high.
Yeah, that’s pretty much what all the statistics say about MLM’s. And most all traffic exchanges are a complete waste of time. You get clickers that stay on your site for 10 seconds and then they’re gone.
Instead, you want to learn how to create traffic based on what people are searching Google for online. This way you’ll get your post and products in front of them when their further into the purchase cycle. Hopefully in the later stages.
Need help with this topic, get your education on and start learning the correct way to make it traffic jams a daily thing on your website or blog.
Best,
Todd
Thanks,Todd.
I greatly appreciate your writing on this topic. It is still not reaching everyone but still spreading slowly.
I have lost thousands online because I had no experience. I even paid to rank my website because I read about the importance of being ranked on the number one search engines, only to find out after that it was a fraud.
I am currently enrolled in a rev – share companies, which “MY Paying Ads” was one of them until PayPal brought in new policy that freezes all users money, including mine. So lots of people are desperate for traffic or to make money online, that we also fall a victim to in the end.
I have been working online for less than a year now, and I have learned so much, a little too late, that many companies are only interested in selling their products. Traffic Authority, never heard of them before, but there are quite a lot of so called traffic sites all over the place. And another thing, there is no guarantee where they are advertising your sites, like real tracking from the big three.
Thanks for your review of Traffic Authority, enjoyed it.
Hi Ann-Marie,
Thanks so much for your feedback with our Traffic Authority review and with your experience working online.
It really is amazing how much poor information is out there and services that really don’t benefit your online business.
I got lucky by being introduced to Wealthy Affiliate after only 2 other shoddy programs. I think what you’ll find so refreshing about Wealthy Affiliate is that they teach you how to gain traffic either organically, by doing keyword research and ranking content naturally.
Or they teach you how to create pay per click ads through Google, Yahoo/Bing, and Facebook. They also teach how to rank in YouTube. Pretty cool, it’s like the concept of teaching a man to fish versus giving him the fish. That way he eats for life and not just one time.
Traffic is the lifeblood of an online business and what Wealthy Affiliate teaches simply works. I know because I get 86% of my traffic from organic searches and I get between 500 to 1000 visitors to my site per day. And I’ve got like 135 total posts. That’s not a lot of posts for that much traffic. That’s also free traffic.
You can do Ann-Marie, and Wealthy Affiliate can help.
Thanks,
Todd
Wow this stuff just amazes. How can people make a program like traffic authority. To me its not right. The packages seem very expensive, and what if you don’t get the traffic. It just does not make sense to me. Most people try their time in affiliate marketing because it’s very inexpensive to start.
The point you made about affiliate marketing it so right. You don’t pay others to promote the product they’re supposed to pay you! Thanks for sharing this article and helping others to not get scammed.
I hear ya Michael. Traffic Authority is just another inferior program that doesn’t provide value in terms of education, support, and really teaching you how to get effective traffic.
I wasn’t a big fan of writing content at first, but once you work at it, learn SEO and keyword research, it’s not that hard and you do the coolest thing ever to a website or affiliate product – and that’s bring in FREE TRAFFIC.
And this is a great skill to have, it’s not that hard to learn how to do, and much more effective at converting sales.
Thanks for your feedback,
Todd
Hi Todd,
The traffic packages supplied by Traffic Authority seem to be very expensive and it’s very difficult to get any idea about the quality of the traffic. As you point out, it may be the Traffic Authority affiliates saying it’s the best converting traffic ever seen, perhaps I’m naturally suspicious but I would give more weight to the negative feedback. Taking into consideration the prices of the traffic packages, it would be very hard to any achieve sales. Therefore, you would probably get no leads and not sell any traffic packages.
Having to buy the product to promote it definitely stinks, in my opinion, it’s better not to get involved with this expensive program. Your alternative sounds a much better proposition and the traffic you’re getting just goes to show if you work hard and follow the training you can see some incredible results. Thanks again Todd for another honest review.
Peter
Hi Peter,
You bet and I’m happy to help out. After learning how to bring traffic to my sites organically, I would encourage anyone who is building an online business for long term success to learn how to research keywords, niches, and write with the purpose of helping others over buying traffic packages.
It would be fun to see what’s behind their traffic strategies and learn from someone who is honestly seeing results to find out the cost per click and cost per conversion. But I don’t think Traffic Authority is providing that knowledge at the time this review was completed. And this is another red flag for me. I’d want to know how many hits to my site I’m going to get like in PPC campaigns.
Plus the MLM factor always makes me leery. Stick to what works to bring traffic to your online business. And if you don’t know the basics, get started with a free membership to Wealthy Affiliate and learn how it’s done. It’s the best decision I ever made.
Thanks for your feedback Peter on Traffic Authority.
Todd
Great review about Traffic Authority Todd!
This sounds like another one of those scams that promise a “system” to make you rich online.
I am so glad that you are exposing these scams because the only people they are making rich are the owners selling the system, certainly not the people buying it!
People have to realise that making money online is possible, but you have to learn the right way and put in a little elbow grease – NOT through some automated system!
Great review 🙂
~John
Hi John,
Thanks for you kind feedback on our Traffic Authority Review. You are absolutely correct in your advice. There is a proven system and training program to help those that are new to internet marketing and building websites, but you have to put in that elbow grease as you say.
Great feedback, thanks.
Todd
Hi, these traffic authority packages you mentioned are truly expensive. You are right about the issue of paying for affiliate status, this is a red flag indeed.
I like your statement that Internet never sleeps, I shall try to remember it.
What you say about thousands per day or per seconds, it sounds great but I have not seen this in practice. It is terribly hard to get any descent traffic. Low competition keywords which you mention imply a poor traffic. Frankly I do not know how it can be done. It appears that you know.
Hi Jovo,
It sounds like you are pretty new to internet marketing and just starting to create content for your site. You need around 20 posts before you’ll start to see some rankings and traffic. Do you have any posts that have made it to the first page of Google?
If not, keep on writing content based on low competition keywords and strive for 3-4 posts/week at first. Then as Google starts to recognize your site and your niche, you will rank more quickly and more easily.
I think you misunderstood me, low competition keywords do not imply poor traffic. On the contrary, low competition long tail keywords provide better more targeted traffic.
Take the phrase: lawyers in Texas – very broad search term that could mean any type of lawyers anywhere in Texas.
Now take this phrase: workman’s compensation lawyers in Waco Texas. Now we’ve narrowed down our search and really get those people that are looking for a specific service/location.
Another example from my site is a post: guide to making money online versus make money online. The first phrase is a phrase that I published a very detailed review of how people make money online (maybe 2500 words). I target this post because over 4,500 people per month search this phrase in Google and it had less than 200 competing websites. My post is typically in position 3 in Google. The second phrase gets searched over 100,000 times in Google but has 1,000’s of sites that have targeted this phrase. That means it’s very competitive and really broad. I’d never target that phrase.
I also wrote a really detailed post to help people understand long tail keywords: how to get traffic for your website – piece of cake.
Hope this helps and thanks for your feedback on the Traffic Authority review.
Todd
Nice and informative review. As a new marketer to the internet I am always leery about signing on to a new program. I want to but am just not sure what I’m getting into. thanks for the heads up on Traffic Authority.I really like all of the options your site gives. I can explore at will. Thanks
Hi Thurman,
Thanks for your feedback on the Traffic Authority review. And it is tough to know who to trust with internet marketing training programs. That’s why I try to be as transparent as I can about the programs that I review. I too, went through the same thing when I was trying to learn how to build my own online business.
There are a ton of scams, poor training programs, and a handful of helpful real products. I think for people who are new to online marketing should start with my #1 ranked training program, Wealthy Affiliate. They provide easy to follow classes and teach only white hat SEO. So you can really trust them to help you build an online business correctly from the start.
After this, I don’t think you’ll need another program, there’s a few advanced training programs out there, but one step at a time. I’ve been a member of Wealthy Affiliate for almost 2 years now and I still haven’t gotten through all the training’s. But within a month or two, I knew exactly how to build my business for long term success.
If you’re new to internet marketing, allow yourself some time to learn and don’t be too stressed out about it. Take it like a college education and give yourself a year to work hard at it. You’ll make online sales within your first couple months, but take the pressure off. Then as your site grows you’ll find yourself making commissions daily.
Hope this helps,
Todd
