Their various products offer skin care, weight loss, liquid nutrition, energy, and performance supplements were presumably made with high-quality essential oils for health and wellness needs.

Beside from selling the product, they also offer other opportunities to earn money from their compensation plans.

Based on their website, their products are extracted from nature’s most generous trees, herbs, plants, seeds and fruits, and backed by cutting-edge scientific research and development. Zija also claims that there are no artificial ingredients or stimulants in any of their products. Pomifera is another MLM with products based on oils.

So now let's take a deep look at their compensation plan and how, based on their claims, you can achieve financial freedom.

How to Make Money With Ameo?

As an independent distributor, there are five ways for you to earn income through Zija's binary compensation plan.

You can earn up to 50 percent commission on personal sales and up to 15 percent on team member sales.

They also offer:

• Builder bonuses
• Leadership check matches
• Exotic trips
• Benz program
• Global company pools. 

You know, the same stuff found in most multi-level marketing companies.

Zija also provides volume order rebates to qualified distributors that can meet specific requirements and up to 18 percent discounts for preferred customers who are enrolled in their auto-ship program.

Fast Start Commissions:

Every time a newly enrolled customer or a newly enrolled distributor places their first order, you earn a percentage of the PV of that order.

Team Commissions:

In Team Commissions, every sale made on your left leg and right leg accumulates PV and once your team on each side reaches $500, you get paid.

For you to get the Qualified Bonuses, you have to recruit and enroll 2 new team members at a certain PV level and set them up with Zija Rewards Purchase (recurring order). You can receive a one-time bonus of $50 or $100, up to a total of $500 per Cycle.

Customer Retention Bonuses:

You can get a free product depending on how much accumulated customer volume you have. This basically means the more consistently your customers purchase, the more customer volume you have and as it accumulates, you can qualify for a free product from Zija.

Aside from free products that you qualify for, you can also receive cash bonuses if you continue to share the products and get sales from it.

Leadership Bonuses:

As your team grows by recruiting people inside it and them making consistent sales, you get qualified for Leadership bonuses. Basically just recruit a lot of people, push them to sell, and then maybe you'll get qualified for this.

Independent distributors get commissions from every sale or individual that they enroll in the program. However, to be qualified for the group paying team commissions, you must maintain 2 active recruits. Active meaning they need to place an order every month for $99.

Now that can be a little strenuous to some because they have to consistently shell out money with or without sales to remain qualified. So basically the idea is to recruit people and make them stay as long as possible. 

Now here's where it starts to get ugly.

Ameo Starter Kits Cost:

The Basic System is $220.00 plus 150 Personal Volume (PV). The Starter System comes in at $420.00 plus 250 PV and the Gold System, also known as Experience Sampler 1, costs $714.00 plus 500 PV.

That's a lot of money to get started with! 

Now you have to sell the product and recruit people with the hopes of getting your money back, and with the growing global awareness of unfair MLM practice, that will be difficult to do.

You might be thinking, it can't possibly be that bad.

It's not.

They have a mobile app that you can use. Here, you can view the training materials that the company provides. Based on reviews, Zija also has an awesome customer service that is ready to assist you anytime you need help.

But this is quickly overshadowed by complaints coming from various mediums.

The complaint of being turned down for wanting to return their purchase is good. And nobody want to get their credit card charged after they've already cancelled their monthly shipments.

So much for money back guarantee.

Also, there are people who have experienced negative side effects when using Ameo products. Side effects such as stomach pain, headache, and nausea.

Ameo Essential Oil Pros:

Of course there are some positive points to consider with Ameo Essential Oils and Zija.

1. Mobile App:

Zija uses a CRM mobile app developed for them by a 3rd party company. The app tracks information viewed and sent to assist distributors in different aspects of the business. They also provide training materials, back office access, and a way to purchase products and enroll customers through the app.

2. Multiple Ways to Earn:

As mentioned, there are five ways to earn income. You will earn commission from personal sales and team member sales. They also offer bonuses everytime you move up the rank.

3. Zija University:

Zija helps new individuals learn how to be a successful distributor by providing an online training resource called Zija University. In here, new distributors will have the support they need in the form of training documents, videos, and marketing materials.

The Cons:

We have mentioned all the good things about Ameo, to remain unbiased, we have to also let you know of the cons of using Ameo products and being an individual distributor of Zija.

1. High Startup Cost:

Startup cost range from $220.00 to $714.00. This has the potential to cause financial strain on individuals who are just starting. Couple it with the company auto-ship program and you will definitely feel the pressure, forcing you to focus on recruiting rather than selling just to earn money.

2. Product Side Effects:

There are reports of customers experiencing negative side effects of using Ameo products. Which begs the question, if it were indeed made of all natural and high quality ingredients, why the side effects?

A product that has this many side effects is hard to sell, let alone market. With sales dwindling, all you can do is recruit and hope that your new distributor has more luck selling the product.

3. MLM like any Other:

There is nothing different with Ameo. They have the same compensation plans as other MLM companies and with the amount of product competition, you will definitely be forced to recruit just to maintain a steady flow of income.

Is Ameo Essential Oils a Scam? 

With all that I researched, do I think Ameo is a scam?

I can honestly say no.

Ameo Essential Oils is not a scam. They have legitimate products that they sell and all the makings of a legitimate company. But then again, we're talking about an MLM company here so a focus on recruitment is quite obvious.

The compensation plan may work for some but it is not designed to give you sustainable income. You'll have to work really hard to get sales and recruit people that will make sales to your down-line to earn extra.

With that being said, I cannot recommend Ameo Essential Oils as a product to sell or as a money-making opportunity.

It actually reminds me of similar MLM we recently reviewed, Touchstone Essentials. 

Here's a Much Better Alternative: 

MLM companies that promise wealth and freedom are all over the place. If all they promised was true, we'd all be millionaires by now.

Instead of holding on to empty promises of financial freedom, you can focus on building your own business. No empty promises. Just results.
