I bet you've already asked youself these questions; What is Asea about? Are their products good? Is this is a good opportunity for me to earn money?
If you want those questions answered and want to know more about this MLM company then you've came to the right place.
Asea Review Summary:
Product Name: Asea
Product Type: MLM Opportunity
Best For: Nobody.
Summary: Asea is another expensive skin-care products mlm company. There's very few people that make money with the system. Built on two-leg system, Left and Right.
What is Asea About?
The company was founded and was officially launched in 2010 by Verdis Norton and James Pack. During this time, they only have one product line, and that is the "Redox Supplement".
In 2014, Asea successfully launched RENU28, a body skin gel that also has the benefits of redox signalling molecules. Shortly after that, RENU Advanced was launched.
Let's take a more in-depth look at their products and how much it cost.
Like many other MLM companies in the health and wellness industry, Asea branded themselves as the only legitimate source to repair the redox imbalance of our body.
Some distributors claim that Asea's Redox Supplement can prevent disease, however, the products of ASEA are not clinically proven and tested to prevent or cure any diseases.
As a distributor you'll be able to order products at wholesale price. Let's take a look at some of the products.
1 Case ASEA Bottles (4 x 32-OZ bottles):
$150.00 (Retail Price) / $120.00 (Wholesale/Distributor Price)
1 Tube Renu 28:
$50.00 (Retail Price) / $40.00 (Wholesale/Distributor Price)
RENU Advance Skin & Body Kit:
$237.50 (Retail Price) / $190.00 (Wholesale/Distributor Price)
RENU Advance Skin Care Kit:
$162.50 (Retail Price) / $130.00 (Wholesale/Distributor Price)
RENU Advanced Gentle Refining Cleanser:
$25.00 (Retail Price) / $20.00 (Wholesale/Distributor Price)
As you can see, there is a small discount on most of the products. But the overall idea is to buy a bunch with your own money at wholesale price, then sell it for a markup - usually 25% more or so.
But Do Asea Products Work?
There are mixed reviews about the Asea product. Some customers say it worked for them, others say it doesn't. We can't say for sure without any empirical evidence.
After looking at the ingredients, the products contain water and 123 milligrams of sodium, essentially salt water. Consumers have reported the liquid tastes like pool-water (contains Chlorine as well) but the company claims this is "Pure" water.
The Asea Compensation Plan:
To get started with Asea you need to buy an enrollment pack, then recruit two people, and encourage them to recruit two more people. These two people will be position on either the right or left side of your team system. Similarly, when those two people recruit two more people, they'll be added to your down line, to earn team commissions.
The enrollment packs vary. The cheapest is $200 while the most expensive is $1,315 but keep in mind this does not include the enrollment fee, which is $40. Looking at these prices, we can see it costs a minimum of $240 to join the program. That's quite a lot to start an online business.
When reviewing this compensation plan, I couldn't help noticing the similarities between this one and Ariix, their compensation plans are a little different but the kits are almost the same.
You can also make money through retail sales, as mentioned earlier, but the core of your income will be from your team bonuses. Let's take a look.
Thanks to the Internet, I'm constantly getting at least 20 new leads per day without doing any cold calling, hard selling or recruiting.
I've already achieved financial independence after working 1 year in affiliate marketing by earning a 4-Figure Passive Income Online.
Ways to Earn with ASEA:
There are a couple of ways to earn in Asea's compensation plan and its as follows:
When you become an Asea Associate, products will be available for you to purchase at wholesale price. Sell them at the retail price and you pocket the difference.
Or you can have someone go to your website and if they purchase at retail price. For example, Asea will pay you the difference between retail ($150) and wholesale ($120) which is $30. The volume generated from retail sales is 100 CV and will count towards your personal volume requirements.
As stated on the Asea website, Team Commissions are the foundation of the Asea Compensation Plan.
Which means, you recruit as many people as possible and have all of them enrolled in Auto-ship to qualify.
Wait a Minute!
Promoting a MLM Company is NOT a good idea.
To start earning Team Commission, you need to be active (100 PV) and have an active (100 PV) personally sponsored Associate on your right and left binary legs.
Asea Commissions and Bonuses:
Preferred Customer Bonus:
Signing up a Preferred Customer will benefit you as well. Your Preferred customer will get a discount and can purchase products with wholesale pricing through Asea's Preferred Customer Auto-ship Program. Every time a Preferred Customer purchases a case of Asea through Auto-ship, you will earn a $25 bonus. When they purchase 2 cases, you'll receive $50, and so on.
However, to be qualified for the commission, you need to be generating 100 PV a month. You'll earn 50 CV each time a preferred customer purchases one case.
Fast Start Bonus:
Every time you sponsor someone who purchases an ASEA Product Pack during the enrollment process, you earn an instant Fast Start Bonus. This one-time bonus will be given to you and your qualified upline's that are active.
Recruit more people into your team and you will be eligible for the AAA or Asea Autoship Advantage Program, which will help return your initial investment. You can qualify to make up to $750 a month by maintaining a AAA Bonus structure with 28 Associates on Autoship. All of the Associates in your structure need to be in Autoship, including you, to participate in the AAA Program.
The problem here is, what if you can't sell the products? You're going to end up over-stocked with a product you can't sell. In addition, you are losing money every month without any means of getting it back.
Special Tip: Online businesses don't cost much to start, check out this post to see the advantages of low cost online businesses.
This is where you get rewarded for recruiting people into your team. In Check Match, the more active members you have in your right leg and left leg and the more active members that your right and left leg has on their own legs, the more money you make.
I just saved you a 10-minute read in their websites compensation plan 😉
Moving Up The Asea Ladder:
Just like any other MLM companies, Asea has ranks to determine who recruits and sells the most.
An Associate is the starting rank. You will automatically get this rank when you enroll in Asea and generate 100 PV monthly.
Director is the rank you get when you get qualified for Team Commissions and of course, you generate 100 PV monthly.
After that, there is the Bronze Executive rank. You reach this when you have two sponsorship legs with a Director 300 in each leg. 2,000GV weekly in the lesser leg, generate 200PV monthly.
Silver Executive have three sponsorship legs with a Director 300 in each, 3,000GV weekly in lesser leg, generate 200PV monthly.
Gold Executive if you have four sponsorship legs with a Director 300 in each, 5,000GV weekly in lesser leg, generate 200PV monthly
Platinum Executive if you have achieved 10,000 PGV weekly sponsorship tree volume and 10,000GV weekly in lesser leg, must average both volume requirements for two weeks and have five sponsorship legs with a Director 300 in each.
Diamond rank if you achieve 15,000 PGV weekly and 15,000GV weekly in lesser leg, must average both volume requirements for two weeks and have six sponsorships legs with a Director 300 in each, generate 200PV monthly.
Double Diamond for 20,000 PGV weekly and 20,000GV weekly in lesser leg, must average both volume requirements for three weeks and have seven sponsorship legs with a Director 300 in each, generate 200PV monthly.
Triple Diamond rank if you manage to achieve 25,000 PGV weekly and 25,000GV weekly in lesser leg, must average both volume requirements for three weeks and have seven sponsorship legs with a Director 300 in each, generate 200PV monthly.
Now, look at the requirements for those ranks. I wonder if anyone ever managed to achieve all that.
If there are things to watch out for, surely there are things to look forward to.
Here is one thing I like about Asea.
1. Wide Selection of Products:
I have to admit, there are a lot of products in the Asea catalog. Interestingly, instead of only having kits, you can choose to purchase individual products too.
Did you know that you can sell any product online without spending a dime? See how affiliate marketing works by reading this post.
And then there is the cons. Let's check the list, it's bound to change your mind if you're contemplating on joining.
1. No Support for New Associates:
No trainings provided. Minimal support.
2. Pyramid Sales Scheme:
In 2014, Asea Italy has been sanctioned by Antitrust Authority for pyramid sales. Asea Italy was fined 150 thousand euros.
3. Recruit More to Earn More:
By studying the Asea Compensation Plan you can clearly see that it had the sole objective of recruiting other sellers, who were asked for an initial contribution or the signing of a personal purchasing program.
4. No Studies Backing Claims:
No peer reviewed studies have been done about the health benefits of Asea products. Some reviewers claim the product is nothing but snake oil, peddling a special version of water as the secret to health. In other words, we're talking Pseudoscience here.
5. Asea is Expensive!
Do you want to spend $1,000 + on salt water every month?
Is Asea a Scam?
I wouldn't say that Asea is a scam. But the products are really in a grey area.
That doesn't mean that I recommend it. Though Asea is a legal and a registered business, their business practice is shady at best. No support at all. No training provided. It's as if they just want you to enroll and be their Associate then leave you there to rot.
Looking for real internet marketing training? Read this post to see the criteria that any proper internet marketing training program should offer.
Their compensation plan is one to avoid as well. Not many, like next to none, get rich in a MLM, especially with a company that focuses on recruitment rather than selling an actual product.
A Much Better Alternative:
Joining an MLM with the hopes of having financial freedom is like waiting for rain in a desert, it's frustrating and pointless.
Instead of wasting time selling products that nobody wants, why not find a cool Amazon product you love an promote it instead. It's easy to do and a great way to create a steady paycheck online.
