Commission Black Ops Review
Product Name: Commission Black Ops
Product Type: Affiliate Marketing Training Media Type: PDF and Videos
Creator: Michael Cheney
Best For: Nobody.
Summary: Commission Black Ops is the average internet marketing training program. On the plus side, it’s cheap.
I didn’t like that lack of training on how to build traffic, which is the lifeblood to any online business. You’ll need additional training to become successful in affiliate marketing.

What is Commission Black Ops?
In a nutshell, Commission Black Ops is a video training course that reveals a simple strategy that you can repeat an unlimited amount of times to earn money as an affiliate marketer.
I went through the training and didn’t feel like any of the material was ground-breaking or so exclusive, most of the information in the videos is standard email marketing advice.
On the other hand, I do have a bit more experience than the average person when it comes to affiliate marketing so I don’t doubt that complete beginners will find this information helpful.
In fact, that’s probably why I wasn’t so impressed, it seems like the videos were geared more towards complete beginners, there’s not much in it for the more experienced individuals.
What I Like about Commission Black Ops:
I have to admit, the Commission Black Ops training was not bad, and here’s what I liked…
I liked that the videos are in-depth and get straight to the point, sometimes the intro can be irritating but you can just skip it, no problem.
Like most affiliate training video courses, this one is divided into 5 different modules, and there are several bonuses too (not to mention up-sells).
Each module takes you through a different step in affiliate marketing such as how to create a list, how to find offers, how to market to your list, and much more.
Again, not the most ground-breaking information out there!
I enjoyed the videos and the strategy was simple enough to remember. The videos really drive the points home and make it easy for you to remember what needs to be done.
Then, all that’s left is to take action!
What Type of Offers Will You Promote?
This training teaches you how to become a star affiliate on the well-known affiliate platform, JVZOO.
In other words, the videos show you how to use the platform to find offers to promote and how to share your links and all that.
If you want to use a different platform or promote a specific, non-JV product, that’s fine too, but you won’t be told exactly how to do that (though the basic idea remains the same).
It’s also important to keep in mind that this product is all about how to make money with email marketing!
The email marketing tips were decent, I especially liked the part where he tells people to create the most exciting emails in your target’s inbox, try to be the most exciting thing in their lives.
There are also some cool tips about how to find headlines and stories to hook people and make them open your emails.
Commission Black Ops Cons:
It’s important to keep in mind that Commission Black Ops is not a full internet marketing training course, it only focuses on one area of internet marketing and that’s earning money as an affiliate with email marketing and lists.
One more thing that I didn’t like about Commission Black Ops is the hype, the sales video is a little cringe-worthy because of the hype, the sales page has a lot of the same hype that known scams use to promote their products.
I originally thought Commission Black Ops was a scam based on the sale page alone!
The owner, Michael Cheney, continues to produce average training programs with lots of hype. Check out some of his others:
If your training is such high quality, why build new courses. Why not improve the original course for those that bought it? Because it lacks value so Mr. Cheney continues to push out new products to increase his sales.
There are no tips on how to generate traffic:
This was a bummer for me because generating traffic is clearly the most important aspect to any online business.
The lack of advice on how to drive traffic is a serious problem if you want to make money in affiliate marketing.
Commission Black Ops is mainly for people who already have a email list and are looking for ways to promote products to their list.
If you don’t have a list… then you’ll have to figure out how to build one on your own, and I believe that’s one of the most difficult parts of email marketing and it would have been better if the product expanded on this a bit.
Conclusion on Commission Black Ops:
So, to conclude this Commission Black Ops review, is it a scam?
Well, nope. They offer a decent package for the price.
Commission Black Ops is an average product, I don’t dislike it, but I don’t think it’s amazing either…
If building a full-scale online business appeals to you (and I’m sure it does!) then you’ll need to check this out!

Thanks for taking the time to read this Commission Black Ops Review!
Now you know what is Commission Black Ops and if you feel it’s right for your online business.
Thanks for the review. Because of the reviews like yours it’s easier to find good online opportunities. I personally am a big fan of affiliate marketing, but I haven’t been doing any email marketing, so I could learn it from Commission Black Ops. I’ve been learning affiliate marketing from Wealthy Affiliate, but I haven’t learned any email marketing yet.
Hi Sandy, there’s several training’s created by Wealthy Affiliate as well as WA members. Just do a search for email marketing and you’ll be fine.
I think the biggest thing is to be able to take a week or two to set up your email subscriber serious and make sure you can give away something of value in trade for you audience to opt-in to your email list.
For me, I just finished our Laser Targeted Traffic eBook, it’s got all the traffic secrets you need to know to build a successful online business.
Hey Todd, very good Commission Black Ops review, I decided to check out a different review and I see what you mean by its basically just trying to get people to click on an affiliate link, which is unfortunate, people want true honest reviews, not a sale attempt.. one question I have is, is this $19.95/ month it a one time price of $19.95? I know many like this is a monthly payment.
I’m glad you were here to give us an honest review, and I thank you for that! Seems like an alright program, but doesn’t seem to compare to wealthy affiliate! I’m glad I found WA before going to this program!!
Stick with the training from Wealthy Affiliate and you’ll do great.
Hi Todd, I must admit, the name “Commission Black Ops” did have me a little intrigued, so I was keen to read your review.
It sounds like this is not too bad of a program for newbies, and I guess at $19.95 it is not going to break the bank, but you will still have to be aware of the upsells.
I like your point about being an experienced marketing and being a bit underwhelmed at the info in the videos and sometimes I fall into this trap with my training as well, in that sometimes you don’t realize how far you have come and that most people are still beginners in the online world.
That being said, I still can’t go passed Wealthy Affiliate for their training and price (start for free), for both newbies and experienced marketers!
Great review 🙂
Great points John and thanks for your feedback on our Commission Black Ops review. I’d agree, Wealthy Affiliate provides all the training that you could need, at least for the first year or two. Plus, what I really like about attending Wealthy Affiliate was the structured courses.
I could just block out all the other vast amount of information and techniques on internet marketing and stick to a daily training program that was simple to follow and made me do specific tasks that were building my online business at the same time.
This is so important to not get information overload and feel too overwhelmed. When I feel overwhelmed it makes me just want to stop and back off. But when I feel I’m making steady progress, I keep pushing forward.
I got to the point even at WA where I stopped looking at other community emails or too many tutorials because I just wanted to focus on the training at hand and not get side tracked.
Thanks John for your feedback, good to hear from you.
Nice review as usual Todd. You’ve got amazing writing skills. I will be learning a lot from you from now on. I have heard about commission black ops here and there but it has not really picked my attention.
I fell like I have to completely understand wealthy affiliates training before I start looking in other places. May be I am just too conservative. Thanks yet again for the information.
Hi Denise comma thanks for your feedback on our review of Commission Black Ops. Much appreciated.
I don’t think you need any other train besides what Wealthy Affiliate provides. Learning the basics about keyword research, and strive to create a helpful content that will benefit whatever niche audience you are involved in.
Stick to the training program every day, complete each lesson, and watch Jay’s weekly webinars and work at this as if you’re going to be successful and just forget about the money.
Then as you grow your site and get your content rank you’ll bring in the traffic and create the online income you were originally looking for.

You have given a very informative review of Commission Black Ops Todd. It was very detailed and easy to follow. Also, thanks for introducing me to the company Wealthy Affiliate.
I’m a content marketer and is not interested in email marketing but the information you gave will be useful to some of my readers,
Awesome Eric, anyone who wants to do video or content marketing will benefit from the training, guidance and community offered by the gents at Wealthy Affiliate.
Email marketing should be considered if you’ve got a site getting traffic. The money is in the list. I use Aweber if you want to go with the email marketing pros.
I have never heard of commission black ops before reading your review. After reading your review it seems like a person could probably find some of the same stuff they are teaching for free online, don’t you think? I was actually looking for way to increase traffic and sounds like you are too. Do you plan on doing an article on getting more traffic at a later date? I would definitely be interested.
I’m always looking for more traffic. But no, I’ve got a great post on this site that will give you nothing but white hat SEO skills to get the traffic rolling in. Click.. How to Get Traffic For Your Website.
I get 86% of my traffic organically from search engines like Google because I’ve learned to do keyword research on what my niche audience is searching for on a daily basis.
The posts I just linked will give you a good start on the process.
And you can absolutely find the majority of information that Commission Black Ops is offering for free.
I’ve brought in most of my traffic for free through writing keyword based content, but I’ve also done PPC campaigns through Facebook, Google, Bing and unless you have something that coverts extremely well, I don’t think it’s the most effective way to convert sales.
But Commission Black Ops offers what most online training programs offer, the illusion of fast cash. And that sells, but that’s never the reality with online business unless you’re selling brand name physical products on giants like Amazon/eBay.
It takes time to build an awesome online business that spits out the cash each day, but it’s a reality and you can do it with the right training.
Wow, great review on Commission Black Ops – think I’ll pass. WA already has great resources and training for email marketing.
I reached Wealthy Affiliate through another channel and now I found your site! What a great program! And you depict it very accurately.
This is a great site Todd and you really show that Online Business is much more flexible and easier to maintain then traditional business.
Not to mention that WA helps to keep the start up to a minimum while giving you all the tools website and training you need to make it a success!
Thank you for peaking my interest on this again!
Thanks for your feedback on our Commission Black Ops review and my site. Wealthy Affiliate is a great resource and year after year they continue to impress me with their services and updated education platform.
They are a very impressive company and a must have for anyone who wants to create an online business. I use their various tools daily and I’m really happy with the results.
