Product Name: Crowdology
Product Type: Online Survey Portal
Price: Free
Best For: Beginners looking to start making extra money online.
Rating: 50/100
Summary: Crowdology is a popular survey portal but pretty average based on our findings.
The pay is in the mid-range compared to other task and survey sites. The negative issues of working with a slow site, taking surveys only to be disqualified and mediocre pay makes Crowdology a pass for me.

What is Crowdology About?
Crowdology is UK based online platform where you can complete surveys and tasks for cash.
The idea is that the members can help companies conduct market research by answering questions.
It works much like any other survey/task based platform. You have to complete your profile in order to qualify for more surveys.
The more information you have on your profile the more surveys you can qualify to complete.
That’s the short version.
What We Liked About Crowdology:
One of things that stood out to us was the fact that there is no point system, like similar platforms.
You are paid in direct cash, via PayPal.
You can also exchange the cash for Amazon Gift Cards, but most people will choose the cash only option.
And the payments are in Pounds, not U.S dollars, which is nice since the exchange rate is a little better. Another thing we liked is the payment requests are handled relatively quickly.
In most cases, they’ll deliver the funds within a few days.
On the subject of payments, the minimum threshold is $8 or a $10 Amazon Gift Card. It’s great that they process payments quickly and the minimum payout is not too high.
The amount you can earn per survey varies, the shorter ones start at $0.25 while the longer surveys can pay $10.
So the payment isn’t amazing but it’s not too bad either, it’s around the mid-range mark.
The public opinion of Crowdology seems to be in the middle-ground as well.
Some people love it, some people hate it; it’s 50/50. I noticed recently the site seems to be adding more surveys, so that’s a plus.
However, there are some problems you should be aware of…
Crowdology Downsides:
The main issue we have with Crowdology is they often screen-out members.
In other words, most of the surveys are out of reach, only available for specific profiles.
And sometimes you have to answer screening questions to access a survey; and you won’t be compensated for the screening questions.
In other words it’s a whole lot of effort for a little reward.
You can sometimes be screened out of surveys too, sometimes in the middle of a survey! And of course you only make money if you complete the survey, so this wastes your time.
Another downside is this platform is UK based so ONLY people who live in UK or US will see surveys in the feed.
You can still access the site if you’re not in the specified country, but you won’t see many surveys, if any at all.
Another common complaint is the website is slow and it takes awhile for rewards to register. Sometimes survey panels don’t load all together.
So it can be a quite frustrating experience.
Another downside is the company has the tendency to bombard members with emails and new offers.
Is Crowdology a Scam?
From what I researched and my own experience, I can say Crowdology is not a scam.
They deliver as promised and they do pay members. The surveys tend to get snatched up real quick but everything seems to work as advertised.
And the platform is free to join too so there’s no much to lose.
Is There a Better Survey Alternative?
Heck yeah! We have reviewed a ton of survey platforms on this website, but so far the one I like the most is still Survey Junkie.
I like Survey Junkie because they have the most surveys and the pay is the best. Of course you won’t be able to earn a full time income with them but you can make some extra cash for the weekend.

What Now?
Well now you can decide if you want to keep looking for the perfect survey platform or try something else entirely.
Most of the time you won’t make good money from survey websites.
Instead, I recommend learning how to build your own website and turn it into a profitable business.

Conclusion on Crowdology:
So now that you know what is Crowdology about you can decide if it’s right for you.
Generally, the platform works as advertised. The payment threshold is reasonable and they process payments quickly too.
But it can take awhile to be approved for surveys and they don’t pay much either.
If you live in the UK or US and fill in all the details possible on your account, the options will be better.
Nevertheless, Crowdology is not a platform I recommend at the moment. Thanks for taking the time to read this Crowdology review!
Remember, the best way to make money online is to build your own business.
