What is Find My Profession?
Find My Profession is a company that offers a wide range of services to further people's careers. Their main services are custom resume writing and career guidance calls.
Instead of just delivering a writing service, they include many other services and features within their packages, which we'll talk more about later on.
Granted, the service is slightly more expensive than other resume writing services, but the main reason for that is they offer more exclusive features.
Nevertheless, if you're struggling to find any kind of job and finances are tight, Find My Profession might not be the best way to spruce up that resume.
How Does Find My Profession Work?

Now that you know what is Find My Profession, let's see how it works. The way it works is quite simple; you buy a package, provide them with necessary information, and then your writer will contact you shortly.

The core difference between this and other resume writing services is, with this one, you have to actually talk to your writer. They'll call you and ask you more questions about your career experience, goals, and any relevant information they might need to design a resume for you.
This is called a 30-minute branding call. It's a personal touch - more like a consultation service - which I thought was great. Now let's look at their services and features.
Find My Profession Services:
There are two main categories of services on Find My Profession:
- Resume Writing Services
- Career Finder
The Resume Writing Services covers a wide range of resume-types, including executive and corporate resumes (C-Level resumes) as well as cover letters. In most cases you have to buy a package.
For regular professionals, the Professional Resume Writing service is what you need. It's the standard package for mid-career individuals. I had a hard time finding the appropriate section for entry-level resumes, it seems like this company mainly caters to mid-career and executive types.
Each type of resume service works the same, with three packages you can choose from: Regular, Premium, and VIP Gold.
The regular package for Professional Resume ($695) includes a 30-minute coaching call and one custom-written resume. The Premium Package ($795) includes the same, but with a cover letter thrown in. Likewise, VIP Gold ($1,095) adds a LinkedIn Profile to the list of services. Keep in mind the C-Level resumes cost a lot more, starting at $895.
Let's move on.
Career Finder
Career Finder is a service for people who are looking for a new job. It's like the ultimate package. They make a resume for you (marketing materials), start searching for jobs on your behalf, and even fill in applications for you.
This service is designed to save you time because we all know searching for a job can be a job on it's own. They also have access to job boards you might not think to check.
One interesting aspect of this feature is they offer to conduct research on a specific company for you. The research will include things like who is the decision maker in the company, who is more likely to see your resume, and more. It's a great way expand your professional network.
Keep in mind, Career Finder is quite a pricey service, with packages starting at $8,000 and possibly up to $12,000. Granted, it does provide a lot of value, but I feel like it's a bit out of reach for the average person. I feel like I can accomplish the same thing with the host of free tools out there, as well as simple Google search tricks.
Find My Career Reviews:
While researching Find My Career reviews, I kept coming across overly positive reviews, both on Glass Door, Trust Pilot, and Site Jabber. On most review sites the company has a five star rating and many positive reviews.

It looks like the overall opinion about Find My Career is positive. There were a few negative reviews sprinkled in there, as is usually the case with any service, but the overall majority were positive. So from the public opinions eye, Find My Career is a decent service.
Find My Career Pros:
Here's what we liked about Find My Career:
1. Experts in Many Fields:
Find My Career has an extensive talent filtering process. Writers have to go through multiple interviews and have plenty of experience in their field before they can work for Find My Career.
Most customers have praised the individiual writers who get on a call with them to work through their experience and build a resume. It's kind of like being interviewed so the interviewer can create something that represents you. Really interesting service.
2. Refunds & Interview Guarantees:
The company offers a couple guarantees, one of which is the usual refund. If you're not happy with their service you can request a refund. Another guarantee is the interview window. They assign a 60-day interview guarantee with each of their packages.
What this means is they guarantee that you'll get at least one interview using their resume or other marketing material you choose to create. If you still can't get at least one interview within that time period they'll refund your order.
3. 1 on 1 Calls with Your Writer:
I think of this more like a coaching call with your writer. They'll ask a bunch of questions to figure out the best way for you to represent your skills in a resume.
These writers have experience in over 75 career fields, so there's a good chance they are familiar with your career too. These calls are great because you can communicate a lot faster than by exchanging emails.
4. Fast Turn Around Time:
Most resumes are delivered within 3-5 business days. It takes more time due to scheduling the call. Within 24 hours of signing up you should have a call booked. Overall, once the writer has the information they need, it only takes a couple of days for them to deliver the resume.
5. Over 6 Types of Resumes:
You can order 6 types of resumes: C-Level, Executive, Entry-Level, Military, IT, and Professional. Most people will opt for the entry-level resumes. Nevertheless, I thought it was great how there are so many options.
The Cons with Find My Profession:
What we didn't like:
1. Expensive:
This was the main downside for me. Everything else about the company is great but I feel the price is a bit too high. Even entry-level resumes cost $600 + and that's for only for one resume. If you want a cover letter or a LinkedIn profile, that's another $200 to drop on the package.
2. Focus on Executives:
This point builds on the one above. I feel like the services cater more to executive and C-Level resumes, which are usually a bit out of reach for the average person. I guess these are the only people who can afford the resumes!
Is Find My Profession a Scam?
After reaching the company and testing it out, I can say without a doubt Find My Profession is not a scam. They do offer a decent service that many people have benefited from. The only downside is their price, but overall, it's a great company.
Do You Really Want a Job?
Might sound like a silly question. But there are ways to make money without an actual job. For example, making money online. It might sound like a pie in the sky dream but many people do it, and some of those people make a lot more from their online ventures than their previous jobs.
Don't take this the wrong way. Working on a career you love is great and worthwhile, but if you're struggling to find direction or you want to try something different, working online could work for you.
The best part is you don't need to quit your job to work online. You can do it in your free time, or even at the office when no one is around. Wherever you have internet, you can work.
I understand working online sounds incredibly vague, so let me explain a bit. There are plenty of models you can pursue to make money online. But the one I recommend because it caters more towards the future, is building a website that you can turn into a profitable business.
Luckily for you I know just the product that can teach you how to do all that, and more. The best part is it's totally free to start taking classes and getting support to build whatever you wanna build online.

Hopefully now you know what is Find My Profession. It's a good company, and if you need a resume I would suggest them, although their packages are a bit pricey.
Nevertheless, they seem to deliver as promised, and if they don't you can always get a refund. Thanks for taking the time to read this Find My Profession review. Leave a comment below if you have any questions.
