What is Pomifera?
Pomifera is a new multi-level marketing company in the essential oil and skin care industries. Most of the company's products contain Pomifera oil, from Osage Orange, a common type of fruit. They have products in a wide range of categories: hair, body, face, and others.

While the fruit is not poisonous, it's generally not eaten because of its hard and dry texture. The extract of this fruit can be used to create creams, oils, and lotions. Pomifera oil is seems to improve a number of issues; it's anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, and anti-bacterial. Supposedly, the oil is great for your skin.
As you might expect, the company Pomifera markets their own version of Pomifera extract-based products. We won't be breaking down the products here, but for the most part, they seem to be decent. It reminded me of another MLM called Anovite that uses an ingredient called Bovine Colostrum.
How Partnering with Pomifera Works:
The Pomifera opportunity is like most multi-level marketing (MLM) companies. You enroll as a distributor, receive a kit, and then you can promote the products to earn commissions and build a team.
Pomifera's compensation plan is a little bit different from most MLM companies, which I'll talk about later in this review. Once you create an account, you'll be given a customized website on a sub-domain, and any sales made through that website will be attributed to your account.
How Much Does It Cost to Join Pomifera?
To join Pomifera, you only need to buy a "Starter Kit" and it costs $99. You don't need to pay a registration fee or any other hidden fees. It's the only kit option. As far MLM kits go, this one is on the cheaper side. There are also no annual or monthly fees.
However, you do need to fill out an extensive form with all kinds of information, including your social security number, which I thought was a little unnecessary. You should also know that there are no refunds for business kits. Once your profile is registered, you can participate in the compensation plan, and I'll explain how it works below.
Making Money with Pomifera:
If you're familiar with MLMs, you're probably thinking Pomifera is more of the same. While Pomifera is an MLM, the compensation plan offers the same commission rate for all members, regardless of their rank. Most MLMs require you to move up in ranks to unlock more commissions.
You can also watch this video for their official explanation:
There are lots of small bonuses but most of your income will come from these three methods:
Product Commissions
Pomifera's commission rates start at 25% across the board. It doesn't increase as you move up ranks, but you do unlock other bonuses as you advance. I have to admit, I like how Pomifera offers a decent commission rate for distributors. It encourages members to promote the products more, and not the opportunity as much, the way it should be.
Downline Bonuses
Of course, there are downlines too. When you reach the first rank (second after "Partner") you can earn 3% of the commissions from people under you. The second level is unlocked at rank III and you can earn 7% on level 1, and 3% on level 2. The next one is at rank V with 10% on level 1, 6% on level 2, and 3% on level 3, and it goes on like that.

There are requirements for each rank, and you need to maintain that rank to continue earning the bonuses. If you do not meet your quota, you'll be drop a rank. This encourages you to promote the opportunity and get people to sign-up under you.
Personal Sales Bonuses
Another way to earn money with Pomifera is by completing $100 Sales Blocks which are $1,000 worth of retail volume. In other words, for every $1,000 worth of product you move, you earn a bonus of $100, on top of the 25% commissions. This bonus is the same across all ranks, so everyone has a chance to earn it.
How Much Can You Make Selling Pomifera?
It's unclear how you can make selling Pomifera because the company has not released an income disclosure statement. If I had to guess, based on my experience with multi-level marketing companies, probably much less than a minimum wage job.
I can see how Pomifera members can earn a bit more than usual MLMS because of the commission rates and block bonuses. When the company releases an income disclosure statement, I'll update this article.
Another point worth mentioning is according to Pomifera's policies, members are not allowed to reveal their income with the opportunity. So it's very difficult to find accurate earnings.

Is Pomifera a Pyramid Scheme?
Pomifera uses a pyramid structure for commissions but it's not a pyramid scheme. Nevertheless, oddly enough, pyramid schemes are actually more profitable for members than multi-level marketing schemes. It's easy to sink your money into an MLM because they continue to encourage you to buy more and more.
A Better Alternative:
Multi-level marketing always promise that you can make lots of money working from home at your own pace. The truth is it's very rare to make a profit promoting MLM opportunities. Most people, and I'm talking 99% of members, lose money to these opportunities.
And it's easy to get discouraged when there are so many of these schemes out there. What you need to know is you can make money online from home, and there are lots of ways to do it. But you do need to follow a proven system.
I happen to be a member of a really active community called Wealthy Affiliate which has in-depth training you can easily follow to build an online business. It might not make a millionaire but some extra side money for you or your family is always nice. And that money can be scaled too.
Thanks for taking the time to read this article. Hopefully now you know what is Pomifera and you also have a basic idea of where to go to learn more about making money online. Leave a comment below if you have any questions!
