What is Poofy Organics About?
Poofy Organics is a networking marketing company that sells organic products in a wide variety of categories. They have hundreds of products, spanning the following categories:
- Bath and Body
- Cosmetics
- Essential Oils
- Hair
- Facial Care
- Home
- Lip Balm
- Oral Care
Most of these products are branded as organic. The company even claims to hand-make certain products too. Whether these claims are true, we don't know.
But if you want to know more about Poofy Organics, continue reading!
What we do know is Poofy Organics offers an income opportunity much like other network marketing companies we reviewed on this website.
The pitch starts with:
With no crazy sales quotas or required monthly product purchases, you can begin your business today.
Oddly enough, in the compensation plan you can find a statement that directly contradicts the above:

In other words, members need to reach a minimum personal sales volume every four months to maintain their status, otherwise their account will be canceled. The amount increases too, depending on your rank.
Wait a Minute!
Promoting a MLM Company is NOT a good idea.
As you might imagine, a Poofy Organics distributor is responsible for making direct-sales and adding more promoters to their down-line. Most of the time distributors will work towards their sales goals by inviting friends and family to "Parties".
In fact, distributors can earn the title of "Qualified Party" and earn more bonuses, if their party generates at least 200 Volume.
Is Poofy Organics a Pyramid Scheme?
Technically, no, Poofy Organics is not a pyramid scheme.
But it does share some characteristics with pyramid schemes, like most multi-level marketing companies.
Generally, it is best to avoid these opportunities as you'll likely end up spending more money than you earn. Not much profit to be made.
And nobody likes people who organize parties just to make sales, its a great way to alienate your friends and family!
Lets talk more about the Poofy Organics Compensation Plan.
Poofy Organics Compensation Plan:
Once again, not much originality in this company.
Read the full compensation plan here:
Except for the funny rank names:
- Advocate
- Activist
- Missionary
- Challenger
- Gladiator
- Champion
- Superhero
Starting to sound more like a fantasy video game!
But it gets worse:
Sections ranks are divided into three sections: Water, Earth, and Air.
I'm not making this up!

And there are requirements for each level too, regardless of the statement on their opportunity page where they mention there are no sales requirements.
This seems like false advertising to me, what do you think?
There are also four main ways to earn money with this compensation plan:
- Sales & Rank Bonuses
- Level Overrides
- Advancement and Matching Bonuses
- Generation Overrides
If that sounds familiar, chances are you're remembering some of the other network marketing companies we reviewed on here before, such as: Nevetica, Nu Skin, and Xyngular, to name a few.
The first rank is called Guide, and it qualifies you to start selling the products and participate in the opportunity.
At this rank, there is a 25% discount, and a 25% commission rate on sales. So you can buy at a discount, and basically earn that discount back, when you make sales.
Thanks to the Internet, I'm constantly getting at least 20 new leads per day without doing any cold calling, hard selling or recruiting.
I've already achieved financial independence after working 1 year in affiliate marketing by earning a 4-Figure Passive Income Online.
To maintain this rank, members need to generate at least 200$ in sales every four months. If you don't reach the sales quota, your account will be labeled as inactive, and you won't be able to continue working with the company.
The initial sign-up fee is $39.95 + $9.95 for a website.
The Good on Poofy Organics:
The good about Poofy Organics is there are a lot of products to promote. Their catalog is quite diverse.
1. Decent Quality:
Quality is not bad either, most consumers report they were satisfied with the products, and they performed as expected. Generally, there aren't a lot of Poofy Organics reviews, it seems like the company is still gaining traction.
2. Support Provided:
They also state training material is provided when you register as a member, and your up-line is supposed to help as well.
3. Environmental Friendly:
Poofy Organics also seems to be very environmentally-aware. As in, they use bio-degradable packaging materials such as packing-peanuts, instead of plastic.
They also claim to never test their products on animals. Most of their bottles are bio-degradable too, which is great.
Cons (IMPORTANT!)
There are a few things about Poofy Organics you should know...
While reading through their terms and conditions, I found something that surprised me.
1. No Compete Policy:
Their statement says they operate a no-compete policy, which means you are only allowed to promote Poofy Organic's products, no other companies.
They even ask that you resign from any other similar company, and focus on Poofy Organics only. I thought that was an interesting condition.
2. Expensive Products:
Poofy Organic's products are almost always at least twice as expensive as similar products. While expensive, they're still cheaper than other network marketing companies, at least you don't have to spend hundreds of dollars on a couple bottles.
3. Shipping Fees:
Oddly enough, shipping is not free. In some cases, the shipping fees cost more than the actual product. Not to mention they block entire countries from their store, even Canada is blocked. It looks like they only ship within United States.
4. Not Organic:
Ironically, most of Poofy Organic's products are not organic. Granted, they do explain why some products are not certified as organic (it is a long and grueling process) but you should still be aware. It's worth mentioning because they claim all their products are organic.
Most of the time, there will be a fine-print at the bottom of the product description which will let you know if the product is organic-certified or not.
Hopefully that clears up what is Poofy Organics about.

Is Poofy Organics a Scam?
From the looks of it, Poofy Organics is not a scam.
But the company doesn't have much sales data online, I couldn't find an income disclosure statement.
My guess is Poofy Organics is similar to other network marketing companies when it comes to sales, as in, most people make very few sales.
But overall, the company is not a scam.
Nevertheless, there are a few reasons I don't recommend Poofy Organics:
Why I Don't Recommend Poofy Organics:
For one, the training pushes you towards hosting parties to make personal sales.
As someone who has been invited to these parties before, its usually quite an uncomfortable experience. You'll probably receive a message on Facebook from some distant relative or friend that wouldn't normally contact you, unless they need something from you.
Secondly, the requirements to stay active. You have to pay to join the opportunity, and then reach a certain sales quota every month. If you don't make any sales, the money you spent will be in vain. No refunds.
Third, it is a small family-owned business, so shipping is local-only. This further limits your potential sales. Chances are you won't even be able to reach the minimum sales quota, mainly because the market is so limited.
Here's a Better Idea:
Instead of irritating your family and friends, I recommend something a little different.
With my recommended business model you won't have to alienate yourself from your friends. Your chances of making money are much better, if you're willing to work at it, than promoting any network marketing company.
I recommend learning how to build your own simple niche website. Then use it to promote products as an affiliate.
It is a simple business model, and one many people use to make thousands of dollars a month.

Leave a comment if you have any questions.
Perhaps someone would like to get involved because of the true nature of the products. Perhaps some of us are not out to make a million but would rather help our family and friends. You are wrong about the ship only local. Is the entire US local? Maybe you should just stay with what you know.
Hi Noel,
Thanks for your feedback on our Poofy Organics Review. Local shipping is referring to domestic shipping per the author of this review, so yes, US would be included in the term local shipping.
As to your online goals, they sound great. Starting an online business to help your family is one of the best motivational factors. There’s all kinds of online businesses out there and our goal here at Learn To Grow Wealth Online is to help everyone start making money online.
How much money that is is totally up to you.
The problem with most all mlm’s is that nobody, but the top 1% – 3% make any money. With affiliate marketing, you can quickly start making money online and you’re building your own business, not someone else’s.
You can also make an online business as large as you want, even expand into eCommerce. That’s not the case with mlm’s. I’d highly encourage you to read our post about Network Marketing vs Affiliate Marketing to make sure you are making the most out of your time and efforts.
Unfortunately, most mlm’s just don’t work for most people, just the one’s that start them.
If you’re really sold on Poofy Organics and want to promote them more efficiently than by word of mouth, you should learn how to drive targeted traffic, that’s already interested in your niche, to your Poofy Organics website. It makes online sales so much easier.
It’s not that hard to do but takes some knowledge. That’s how you found my review, on a search engine like Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc.
So what we teach works. I offer this info in our free Targeted Traffic eBook. You should learn to do this if you’re serious about promoting products online. Otherwise it’s old school marketing through friends and family or spamming online forums. Which as I’m sure you know is not the most fun thing to do. Plus you annoy all your friends and family.
Hope that helps.
Best,
Todd
Unfortunately, Poofy doesn’t allow Guides to make their sites searchable. Social media is all that’s permissible.
Hi Todd,
Your review confirmed for me that Affiliate Marketing is a much better option than any MLM company. I kept reading your poofy organics review because I was thinking the company wasn’t real…just the name poofy made me a skeptic!
I always get distracted by MLM companies because they sound so easy but they are all the same. The quality of the products are a concern and the fact that you said not all the products are organic would keep me away. I think I’ll stick with Wealthy Affiliate!
Thanks for the information,
Debbie
You bet Debbie, happy to help clarify things and thanks for your feedback on our Poofy Organics review, much appreciated!
Hello Tim,
I do not really like everything that has to do with an MLM company.
Why? I do not understand the compensation plan and for what you explain is a very expensive product.
Therefore it is very likely that it will cost us a lot to be able to make sales. Seems like Poofy Organics is the same.
But I recommend joining the company that you promote “Wealthy Affiliate” specialized in Affiliate Marketing.
If the activity is interesting, do not hesitate to register.
Regards! Claudio
Tim,
I love the transparency within your review of Poofy Organics. I am always looking to expand my opportunities online and this is a great example of someone doing the “right” thing. I appreciate the great content and the exposure you are giving to all of your readers.
Your review hits the nail on the head as far as MLM programs go. Always trying to slide in there and snag a hopeful entrepreneur and turning them hopeless.
Thanks again!
Nic
