There’s little value in the business in a box model and the main goal is to promote the opportunity (big surprise there!). The landing pages are decent looking but the model, price, value and system aren’t worth it.

What is The Power Lead System?
Power Lead System is an internet marketing training course, with an opportunity to promote it as an affiliate.
It teaches people how to earn traffic and promote affiliate links through various platforms, similar to many other products in the internet marketing niche.
The vast majority of people who sign-up for this product do so to participate in the affiliate program, which offers several bonuses.
For instance, there’s a 50% matching bonus for people under you, we will talk about that in the next section.
The idea behind the Power Lead System is to recruit as many people as possible, and earn money from the products they purchase.
You simply have to make sure that your referrals continue to refer new people, and you can collect all the bonuses without lifting a finger.
Doesn’t that sound familiar?
That’s the classic false promise hook that multi-level marketers use to recruit people to their systems.
Guess what?
It doesn’t work, and here’s why:
Why Power Lead System’s Matching Bonus is Not Special
Let’s talk about the matching bonus.
It’s supposed to work like this:
If you refer someone to Power Lead System, and then that person recruits more people, (or makes some sales) half of what he earned is added to your account.
For example, if he earns $100, $50 of that will be added to your account, but it won’t be deducted from his account, it’s an additional bonus.
Therefore, the people behind PLS want you to promote as much as possible, and encourage everyone under you to promote as well.
This way you’re supposed to earn a significant amount of passive cash, simply from matching bonuses.
So what’s the problem?
The problem is that people don’t stick around long-enough for it to make a difference.
Here’s the deal:
Power Lead System is a low value product and there’s not much within the member’s area that can’t be found elsewhere.
It’s also more expensive than other products, affiliates need to pay the standard membership fee plus the affiliate fee ($30 + $24/month).
I admit, that’s not too expensive, but it’s not that attractive, either.
Special Note: Affiliate Marketing doesn’t work like this. Affiliate programs don’t cost anything to join! You are marketing to sell their products, so you are doing the brand a service.
You get compensated for this, not pay more.
What’s in the Power Lead System Member’s Area?
The member’s area is simply a collection of marketing training videos and articles.
There are also a few free tools thrown into the mix, this package is called “a business in a box” but it’s more like a collection of tutorials scraped from the internet.
In a nutshell, I was not impressed with the material, and it could definitely use some improvement, it’s not a groundbreaking system.
The main feature of the Power Lead System would be the landing pages.
I admit, the landing pages do look rather pleasant and professional.
You can use the landing page templates or pursue a different path, but the templates are on the table.
It’s not all about email marketing; it’s mostly about how to collect leads for PLS so you can make more money as an affiliate.
What I Liked About Power Lead System
Even though I don’t agree with this business model, there were a couple of things about PLS that I thought were interesting.
For starters, the landing pages are crisp and look excellent.
Of course, it’s not that difficult to create a landing page from scratch nowadays, there are plenty of tools at your disposal.
Nevertheless, I liked the templates.
Secondly, affiliate members are entitled to the weekly marketing webinars.
Webinars are excellent for learning how to promote affiliate programs because you can usually ask questions at the end of the webinar.
(I haven’t joined one of these webinars so I can’t say if they’re indeed in-depth)
What I Didn’t Like
I don’t like the payment structure, it’s similar to pyramid scheme matrix.
I also didn’t like how every other sale goes to the person above you.
If I referred you to the company and you make two sales, I receive the total payment for one of them.
I don’t really like the idea of working hard to promote links only to give away half of my earnings. It’s a waste of time.
On top of that, the training material is simply sub-par, it doesn’t have anything that can’t be found in other courses.
It seems like the focus is on the affiliate program; everyone wants to jump in and start promoting the company for commissions.
Most people don’t want to sign-up solely for the marketing courses.
At least, that’s the impression I got when researching this opportunity.
The training material is not terrible, there are some decent suggestions, but I felt like it has all been said before, and none of it really sparked my interest.
Is Lead Power System a Scam?
Honestly, this product is one of the lower quality IM products out there.
Is it a scam? I’m not sure.
From what I can tell most people have received pay-outs, but there are some fishy things that could push it into scam territory.
In my opinion, it’s in a grey area, I don’t recommend anything that’s in the grey area. I did notice that there’s a free 7 day trail, but at the same time, there are no refunds.
Oddly, there is no refund policy. You can cancel your account at anytime but you won’t be given a refund if you want one. I thought that was strange.

Final Recommendation
I suggest that you keep your distance from this product, it feels like a scam, and the meat of the product is very low value.
It’s difficult to promote products that lack value.
Instead, try this:
If you really are committed to making money online, and you’re willing to learn, apply what you learn and take action.

I’m not a fan of the MLM structure either, but it really comes down to THE VALUE OF THE PRODUCT.
Whatever you sell online or with whatever system or marketing, it all comes down to value.
Network marketing systems that have great products can do very well. The issue with MLM’s is the whole recruiting thing.
Not many people want to recruit. This usually includes spamming Facebook and other social media platforms along with bugging the hell out of your friends and family.
If you sell ANYTHING online, go with Targeting Traffic through search engines like Google.

Unfortunately, that doesn’t exist. I get it, I didn’t want to blog or do YouTube videos to create traffic, but I ended up creating exactly what you are looking for, a residual piggy bank.
I do have a couple of sources for you. The first one creates niche websites and has a content writing service and everything is done based on keyword research and white hat seo techniques. If this is the route for you, check out Human Proof Designs. If you’ve got the cash, they can create a niche website that can bring in the traffic and make easy conversions using Amazon as your affiliate.
If you’re more into big ticket items and want a mentor to walk you through the process of making sales, you can call Mark @ 714-408-4993 to get his perspective on this type of business model.
He has provided the leads and a successful system since 2013, and Mark is someone I know who has integrity and one of the few who actually make a six-figure income and really mentors people.

I think the lead system is great. The tools are free for me to use forever which is why I use the system. Once I master the system I would save over 300 dollars a month.
The Power Lead System allows customers to make their own website promoting any opportunity, it includes free unlimited wordpress hosting (even for custom subdomains) and an autoresponder system.
The Wealthy Affiliate platform seems to help people promote free affiliate programs that a person can go to Commission Junction to sign up for.
Rather then signing up for the Wealthy Affiliate program I would suggest a person buy a domain from GoDaddy, web hosting for $4 a month with free webpress hosting, and then signup for Commission Junction.
You could certainly do that George but than you’d be missing out on all the amazing training Wealthy Affiliate has.
Just now their doing a 4 week webinar about building smaller niche sites so that you can create little income earner sites based on proven systems that work. You don’t dink around with niches that are unprofitable and you should only be working with FREE AFFILIATE PROGRAMS for the most part.
I’ve been earning money online for a bit over 5 years. Originally through eCommerce, now pretty much through affiliate marketing and advertising. I’ve got passive income coming in daily and the ability to generate traffic from organic content on Google, YouTube, Yahoo/Bing as well as have PPC advertising established to create positive daily income earning funnels.
I learned how to do that at Wealthy Affiliate.
A month ago, I got free SSL Certificate included in my free state of the art cloud hosting at WA that allows my site to rank higher in Google because I now have my site as a more credible site in the eyes of search engines that’s better protected simply by converting my site from https instead of a http url.

I am amazed by the fact that there are still so many recruit others to recruit others to….(you get the point), programs like power lead system on the internet!
I started to search a way to make a living online about two years ago and I thought I had found a heaven on earth… it seemed so easy to make money on the internet that I was sure I would not have to work for someone else ever again, but I quickly understood that this was not the case and it was more like everyone was trying to get their hands on the newbies that didn’t know the truth yet and recruit them as soon as possible. What a sad thing, how many dreams being crushed and only few ones getting the glory.
I guess the only way that programs like Power Lead System can still exist is that there are always new people looking for the easy way to make their dreams come true and they fall for these types of programs.
I am happy that I have found a better way to earn online by creating my own income producing niche site and that was through Wealthy Affiliate! So at least I can attest to your top recommendation.

Another compelling review of what Power Lead System is really about! I was approached by someone from Power Lead System through Facebook and I was absolutely annoyed by him.
Try to imagine that, you met someone on FB who trys to be your friend. You accept and suddenly, he’s trying to sell you his stuff that you don’t want which is an MLM scheme.

This just proves how inexperienced internet marketers don’t have a clue about how to conduct online business. Social sites are social by nature, so you have to spend time getting to know someone before assuming they want a part of what you’re selling.

I did briefly have a look at Power Lead System a while back, but once I realized it was an MLM scheme I didn’t go any further.
Having to pay extra to be an affiliate is quite incredible, I really can’t see how they can justify this. You’re already paying for what looks like a very mediocre product, so paying $24 extra for the pleasure of promoting this program just isn’t on. Add to that the training they provide seems overpriced, so can you really expect to make any sales or attract new members. You would really have to work hard to make this work and I think it’s worth remembering that with MLM’s the vast majority of people never make any money.
Programs like this, that focus primarily on attracting new members should be avoided in my opinion.
Look at your #1 recommendation they provide excellent training and people sign up for that training. The affiliate program is optional, this is how a legitimate company should operate.

Want to say thanks for your power lead system review. I’m so tired of these ad-share revenue programs and MLM’s. After reviewing your power lead system review, I realized that I’ve seen your site a number of times on page one of Google.
It got me to thinking that maybe you do have some tricks up your sleeve. Or at least you must know something about how to rank your website.
So I started looking into your recommended training program Wealthy Affiliate. I must say that I’m really impressed with the classes I have taken thus far and see that this Wealthy Affiliate program is a really impressive training program. I think it’s a challenge to create your own online business, but at least it real, your own, and not just another online internet marketing product that fails to deliver what they promise.

This compensation plan just gives it away. What I hate is to see people taking advantage of other people’s effort . Giving your hard earned money is not in tune with an ethical companies policy.

Thanks for the informative article on Power Lead System. Certainly, as a reader, I won’t want to sign up for another MLM scheme again as I was into MLM’s many years ago under Nuskin.
MLM’s always benefit the top line while I seldom see people in the middle layer making any real money or simply able to last long with consistent income.
Typically, with MLM’s only the top MLM members enjoy the benefits and make the big money.
Secondly, why should I pay money to sign up for an affiliate program? Affiliate programs should be free as we are promoting their products, isn’t that how it works?

You’re absolutely right, any legitimate affiliate program is free to join. You are providing them with business and increasing their business. It’s ridiculous to charge someone for selling your product. Hallmark sign of a scam.
Thanks for your personal take on working with MLM’s as well as our Power Lead System review. I’ve been in some MLM’s decades ago and that’s pretty much it. Any marketing business is going to take work to develop, but with MLM’s you are always dependent on your down line.
If the MLM is truly product based and the product is better than what currently exists in the market, then selling that product is a normal business. But when MLM’s are primarily based on bringing more people in, then that’s your signal to get out.
I prefer creating online businesses that sell a product or service, supply and demand, keep it simple.

All the advertising’s are from programs I know and trust. Google adsense is working as one banner and that’s it.

Great breakdown of what is Power Lead System and I wasn’t aware that it was a MLM. I think it screams scam.
Why would you pay someone to be an affiliate for them? haha The biggest issue I have in your review is about their sub par training program.
When starting an online career, education is the priority, plus having the right support and guidance as you build your online business. I think belonging to a community like Wealthy Affiliate offer is a great way to go!
I started working with them and am making incredible gains with my online business. Plus the training is really easy to follow. I’ve already gotten a few post campaigns to rank and a few sales.

Also happy to hear that your creating success at Wealthy Affiliate. This is were I got my start and I too was so happy to see my content ranking page one on Google. Of course the affiliate commissions earned were nice too.
I think the key to online success is really sticking at it, as if it were a college education or trade school. Dedicate the time to learn and apply what you learn until you see results.
As you continue to build your site, the long term earning potential goes up and you can see posts produce income daily for years to come.

I don’t think Power Lead System is the way to go and yes, paying to be an affiliate is a hallmark sign that you’re dealing with a scam. Most all affiliate programs are free to join. Remember, you’re marketing their product, they pay you.
As for Wealthy Affiliate, there absolutely free to join. You can take the first set of 10 classes free and put up to free sites with free hosting. But if you’re serious about your online business, the cost of their training center is practically nothing. Plus you get all courses, a new weekly webinar, access to 1,000’s of tutorials, training’s and education to drive your online businesses to the top.
You can check them out right here, I highly recommend Wealthy Affiliate for anyone, new or advanced, online business owner or those wanting to get into the online world. It’s just too good of a system to not have at your disposal.

I have heard about power lead system around the internet on several occasions, and your review basically summed up what I thought that it was all about… another low quality system/borderline scam at best.
I think that programs like this actually give the Internet and making money online a bad name!
Thankfully there are programs such as Wealthy Affiliate, that teach the principles of making money online the right way!
It is just a shame that more people don’t know about them, instead of falling for these types of scams!!

Scams that advertise fast cash are the simplest trick in the book, the focus is always about making the easy money on some automated system, human nature get the best of us if we don’t do any research.
That’s why with this post, I target the keyword phrase – what is power lead system. It’s a low competition keyword phrase that should be easy to rank for. At the same time, I’m reaching out to people that are checking these guys out.
So people who are researching power lead system are wanting real help.
Once they see the truth about the program, they will hopefully take advantage of the training offered by WA to teach them how to make their own online businesses.
That is for those that really want to make money online. There’s no magic online fairy out there sprinkling computers that spit out cash.
It does take a little bit of training and effort, but very low cost to start up and the skills you learn and the connections you make are invaluable. With this kind of support, it’s hard not to be successful online.

I agree with your recommendation to stay away from Power Lead System.
I base that on the simple fact that it is a MLM program, which means only a small percentage, like less than 1%, will make any real money.
I too went and looked at the landing pages and I agree they look great.
