Chances are you came across PureProfile.com and you found yourself wondering what is Pure Profile.
Today we’re going to take a look at this survey site to see if you can use it to make some extra cash online.
There are hundreds of survey sites like this one out there, and most of them don’t pay well. Generally, there are only a handful that properly pay members.
Nevertheless, let’s take a peak into Pure Profile and see what it’s about.
Pure Profile Review
Product Name: Pure Profile
Product Type: Paid Survey Platform
Price: Free
Best For: Those looking to make a little pocket change online.
Rating: 65/100
Summary: Pure Profile is a decent survey platform that pays in the mid-range compared to similar survey/task sites. We didn’t like the higher than normal payout threshold or timeliness of payment.
Recommended: No, for survey sites, see our recommended Survey Junkie. For making serious online income earners, check out my top recommended training. It’s got all the tools, training and support you need in one place to build a successful online business. Dscout is worth a look too.

What is Pure Profile?
Pure Profile is a survey platforms based in Australia.
The way it works is pretty straightforward; make an account, fill in the surveys you qualify for, and cash out.
You have to build your profile and answer questions about lifestyle, habits, and personality in order to qualify for more surveys (seven questions to be exact).
Pure Profile’s vision is to have members share their feedback on surveys and other topics.
Even though the premise is the same as most survey platforms, there are a couple of things that make this one different.
I found this one to be quite similar to Opinion Outpost.
Pure Profile Features:
For starters, there is no point system. Most survey platforms will pay members in points and then you can convert the points to cash later on.
With Pure Profile, the rewards are cash-based, and each survey has a cash value. In other words you’re paid directly in cash, which is great.
Secondly, there are paid campaigns you can join.
Paid campaigns provide members with some additional ways to earn by completing various activities like watching videos, clicking on ads, and more. Granted these campaigns rarely pay much, but it’s a little bonus feature worth mentioning.
Another interesting fact is this website is one of the oldest survey platforms; it’s been active for 18 years!
Pure Profile is Legit:
You’ll be happy to learn Pure Profile is actually a legitimate company. The company is even on the stock exchange, which is interesting for a survey platform.
Granted, after taking a peak at the shares price, the future doesn’t look to great for Pure Profile.
(Share value has been steadily decreasing since 2016)
Nevertheless, Pure Profile is a legitimate company.
How’s the Earnings with Pure Profile:
The part you have been waiting for…
Since the company is based in Australia, the payment is in Australian dollars. When compared to other platforms, the payments are in the medium-range, not too bad but not too high.
Some members can make a few dollars in less than an hour, while others struggle to make a dollar an hour. Mostly, members have been satisfied with the platform, it works as advertised.
You can definitely earn some cash with their platform but there are a few things you should know about before you sign up.
Downsides to Pure Profile:
There are two major downsides with Pure Profile’s platform:
For starters, the high payment threshold.
To withdraw earnings you need to have at least $25 in your account. Considering how you only earn a few cents for each task, reaching that threshold will take some time.
But assuming you grind enough surveys and task to earn that much, what comes next is even more bothersome.
It takes 30 business days to process your withdrawal request.
30 days! That is a long time to wait for $25!
So not only is reaching that limit difficult, but then you have to wait a whole month to receive your rewards. In my opinion, these two downsides are critical.
In most cases, members won’t even reach the minimum pay-out; they give up on the platform before they reach it.
Pure Profile’s Affiliate Referral System:
The referral system is interesting and you can earn $2 for each person you refer.
Of course, there is a catch:
The referral has to complete at least two campaigns within 30 days for you to receive the cash.
Nevertheless, I like how the referral system pays direct cash. As an affiliate marketer, I know pay per lead affiliate programs can be lucrative, if you choose the right one.

Conclusion on Pure Profile:
So now that you know what is Pure Profile, let’s summarize. In my opinion, Pure Profile is an okay survey platform, but the payment issues are a deal breaker.
I don’t want to have to wait a month (sometimes more) for the minimum pay out.
Especially if reaching it takes weeks of work!
Regardless, the platform is legitimate, the company is real and established on the market. The fact that Pure Profile has been around for more than 18 years is a plus as well.
Personally, I think the minimum pay out should be lower, and the payment processing time should be shorter.
Fix those two issues and it could be a platform that I can recommend.
But as of this moment, I don’t recommend Pure Profile. Instead, if you’re interested in survey sites, the only one I recommend is Survey Junkie.
Generally though, survey sites are not the best way to make money online. Instead, considering building an online business. Even a simple niche website can make solid, consistent income if done correctly.
You can make a lot more potential income; there are no limits.
And it’s pretty easy to learn too.
