Wondering what is Rev Seller and if it's a useful service? Continue reading to find out.
"You sell it, we ship it".
That's what Amazon promises with their FBA network.
Well, Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) is a service that lets you store any product that you want to sell (on Amazon) in their massive warehouses.
In addition to storing your products, they will also pack and ship your products to a buyer.
Essentially, FBA makes it much easier for entrepreneurs to set up their eCommerce businesses.
Not only easier, but FBA can also significantly reduce costs, because you won't have to pay international shipping & handling fees.
Not to mention, that the service allows entrepreneurs with limited resources to have a chance to get off the ground. That sounds grand and all, but what does it have to do with Rev Seller?
Here's the thing:
Rev Seller is a Google extension that is completely based on the FBA service.
You will have to understand what FBA is, in order to understand why you would need Rev Seller.
So with that out of the way, let's get down to business.

What is Rev Seller?
Rev Seller in a nutshell, is a Google chrome extension that allows you to make accurate calculations on how much profit you could potentially make on items you are checking out on Amazon.com.
Another similar Amazon research product that has an extension is IO Scout.
You can say RevSeller is a FBA calculator. There are other applications like it. However, RevSeller makes the entire process much more convenient as it is integrated right into your browser (chrome).
With Rev Seller, you will be able to make quick and informed decisions about each product on Amazon.
In fact, you can set the extension to automatically calculate your profits on the exact same screen!
It makes product research (the hardest part of e-commerce) much easier.

More About Rev Seller..
With RevSeller you can make accurate estimates of FBA margins, ROI, fees, and more.
You can also get other important information like...
- Products that are out of stock
- Products that are in stock
- Price gaps
- offers
- UPC
- Product Weight
- Product size
- ASIN
- and more
Finally, another thing that sets RevSeller apart from most other extensions is that it has an affiliate program that you can make money off of.
How Rev Seller Works:
When you hover your mouse over a listing on Amazon, an information box will appear displaying a wide range of seller information.
You can see, at a glance, the price history of the item, the average selling price, the amount of listings for the same product, amount of sells, similar listings, etc.
So it makes finding a low competitive but profitable product to sell a bit easier.
More On Rev Seller's Affiliate Program
Now it is important to note that both RevSeller and Amazon have affiliate programs, but they shouldn't be confused with one another, as they are entirely different companies.
Most people have heard of Amazon's affiliate program as it is one of the oldest and arguably one of the most successful affiliate programs out there. With Amazon's program you can earn up to a 10% referral fee if you manage to promote a product and get someone to buy it through your affiliate link.
On the other hand, RevSeller does not give you a commission based on percentage.
The way it works is a little different:
Instead, if you successfully hook someone onto Rev Seller, and they buy the membership through your link, then you will make a $30 USD commission.
Flat fee.

Cost of Rev Seller
The cool thing is, that you can get a very long trial (30 days) that is completely free!
So you're not pressed into buying the premium right off the bat.
In fact, you can use this free trial without even having to enter your payment details.
Now once the trial period ends, you will need to pay $99.99 annually.

So are you can see, the product is relatively cheap. You might think $99 is quite a bit, but remember it's for the entire year. Really, it comes to a few dollars a month.
Furthermore, there really is no harm in giving it a trial run.
Is Rev Seller a Scam?
Note that Rev Seller makes it clear that they are not affiliated with Amazon.com or its subsidiaries.
That being said Rev Seller does look absolutely legit.
For one, it is an official application on the Chrome store, verified and reviewed.
No unnecessarily complicated mumbo jumbo.
Nevertheless, the extension has received a number of negative reviews recently, with some users complaining about the user interface, claiming the product doesn't work.
It seems like the extension does not work on certain pages on Amazon, like the Best Sellers page, and a few other ones. Pop-up blockers also need to be disabled for the extension to work.
How Can I Use RevSeller To Make Money?
Like I mentioned before, it is not entirely uncommon for people to start a business based on the FBA service. In other words, people buy products on Amazon, then resell it on Amazon to earn a profit.
Now of course with this type of business you will need a few things for it to work:
- Quality copywriting. Basically, you are going to need to create articles about your product that are good enough to convince readers to buy your product. Now if you're intimidated by this aspect of the business, there are plenty of experienced copywriters for hire.
- If you are going to create a website for your eCommerce business, which is recommended, then you are going to need a lot of traffic (visitors) to your website. You might have great products and copywriting, but if you don't have traffic then it is all for naught.
- You are going to need a CTA (Call to action), which is the basically a last phrase or something to make your potential client to actually buy a product from you.
That being said, there's also the affiliate program from Rev Seller. This is a much more direct way to make money through this chrome extension.
The same rules apply. If you've got great copy-writing and a website with organic traffic, then you are going to be making money through Rev Seller's affiliate program.
Conclusion
Overall, Rev Seller looks like a very useful tool that you can use to make your job a whole lot easier.
It's got lots of happy clients and reviews claiming that this extension both saves time and makes it easier to run a FBA business.
But if you're looking for more than just a Chrome Extension, I recommend checking out our recommend eCommerce program.
The program walks you through the basics of getting started in the eCommerce world, and how to rapidly expand to a 6-figure a month (or more) business.
Thanks for taking the time to read this Rev Seller review, and hopefully now you know what is Rev Seller.
