Rewards1 Review Summary
Product Name: Rewards1
Product Type: Paid Online Survey/Task Platform.
Best For: People looking to make a little extra pocket change online.
Summary: Rewards1 is a legit survey and task based platform where you can make a little side cash online. There’s not many offers for folks outside of the USA and earning potential is low. There’s a lot better ways to make money online.
Recommended: No. If you’re looking into Rewards1 for the money making opportunity, you should check this out instead. My top recommended training offers all the tools, support and resources you need to build a successful online business.
What is Rewards1?
Rewards1 is a free to join survey platform much like the rest, where you can earn points for completing various tasks.
The points can then be converted into cash or gift cards in their store.
There are a couple of things worth talking about.
For one, there’s an online forum, accessible straight from the homepage of the website.
From the looks of it, the forum seems to be relatively active.
There are also a number of different ways to earn with Rewards1:
- Watch Videos
- Refer People
- Complete Various Offers
You can also test your luck at the free jackpot or play games for prizes.
So it works much like any other rewards platform.
The core issue I have with this platform is the low payments.
Each survey pays about $0.75 but they take a long time to complete.
And most of the time you’ll have to create an account on a different website to take the survey.
It really comes to a couple of dollars an hour, which is peanuts.
I also noticed the site is not using a security certificate for their domain name.
Most platforms should be able to afford a security certificate, especially if they’re dealing with a lot of payments.
This fact alone made me quite suspicious of the website.
Additionally, there are rarely any offers for people who are not in English-speaking countries, so this really limits your potential income.
But there are a few positive points for Rewards1, too:
For one, the community seems to be quite active.
We already mentioned the forum, but in the member’s area there is a live-chat function you can use to talk to people.
And it’s not only for support, anyone can chat in there!
So it’s great to be able to skim through the messages and see what’s going on.
I also liked how you can withdraw cash relatively quickly.
Rank 2 members can receive PayPal cash instantly but Rank 1 members have to wait a few days.
The minimum pay out is $5 which is nice.
So at least they handle their payments well.
(Unlike this platform where you have to wait 30 days to receive your paycheck)
Most of the time members receive their funds without any hassle.
You can also redeem points in the gift store.
Another interesting feature is Custom Rewards.
Basically what you can do is send the team a message and request a custom reward, as long as the value is equal to the points you have.
It’s a pretty cool feature!
Earning with Rewards1:
First of all, 100 Points is equal to $1 and your account can have both points and dollars.
Unfortunately, people who don’t live in the U.S.A won’t have any offers to complete, and using a VPN is prohibited.
But if you do live in the country, there are usually a lot of offers to complete, that pay between 75 – 200 points.
Out of all the tasks, the surveys pay the best, but there’s other passive ways to earn.
For example you can listen to radio or watch videos, the pay is one point per 10 minutes.
So that’s basically a cent per minute, or $0.60 an hour – not too great.
There’s also a premium offer wall but these are paid offers, in other words, you have to pay to unlock them.
Sometimes it’s worth it, but I don’t like the idea of entering my credit card information on random websites.
All in all, earning with the platform is limited.
The pay isn’t great and there are only offers in U.S.A.
Conclusion on Reward1:
Rewards1 is a straightforward platform.
They pay quickly and the minimum cash out is pretty low.
On the other hand, there aren’t many offers for non-U.S residents and overall payments are quite low.
Nevertheless, some people have seen success with the platform.
I particularly liked the custom redeem feature, where you can basically ask the staff to buy something for you, with your points.
But overall, it’s not a platform I recommend.
Personally, if you need to make fast cash, the best option would be to offer a service or sell something lying around.
Survey sites can be okay but you shouldn’t rely on them for your rent.
Instead, consider building a simple niche-based affiliate website.
You can use a website to advertise pretty much anything and it can be a nice source of income.
