What is Talk Fusion About?
Talk Fusion is a platform where you can make custom videos for marketing purposes using a technology called Web RTC (Real-time Communications).
The company was founded in 2007 by Bob Reina in the advertising and video chat industry. It's also a network marketing opportunity.
They have a few different products, mostly around creating or marketing videos online. The recommended product is the all-in-one platform that includes access to all their tools, mainly used for video conferences.
Products:
- Video Email Only - $99/one-time
- Video Suite - $499/one-time
- Pro - $1499/one-time
But on the side, they also have a business opportunity that is not unlike most multi-level marketing companies out there. The main difference is Talk Fusion gets people to sell video-marketing tools, instead of supplements or income schemes.
We'll talk more about the tools and products later on.
But first...
Is Talk Fusion a Scam?
Talk Fusion does share some characteristics with pyramid schemes, but it's not fair to say it is one. I don't recommend Talk Fusion, but it does seem to deliver as promised, so I can't say it's a scam.
Wait a Minute!
Promoting a MLM Company is NOT a good idea.
On that note, there are some things you should know about this program. The sales video alone has quite a lot of red-flags, like yachts, sports cars, and lots of hype about achieving your dreams.
Here at Learn to Grow Wealth Online, we've seen these promises before. Unfortunately, it rarely works as promised. Just look at the income disclaimer.
Companies, especially if they promise income, need to reveal their income disclaimers for legal purposes. Talk Fusion does this, though they make it a little hard to find the income disclaimer.
So after watching the video you're probably ready to sign-up and start making thousands of dollars, living the dream.
Except, in the income disclaimer, it says about 58% of all members make a grand total of... "NO EARNINGS".
Not that great. So you likely won't achieve your dreams or be able to afford all those sports cars and mansions. Too bad.
Even the top 2.43% only make a couple thousand dollars a month.
Lets add up the numbers real quick...
So 92% of associates make between $0 and $500 a month. Not that cool.
What happened to the yacht and mansion? Looks like achieving your dreams is not going to be that simple.
When you realize each of the associates have to buy into the program, and most of them don't make any money, it's clear this isn't a good idea.
Money down the drain.
That takes us to the next section:
Can You Make Money With Talk Fusion?
Assuming you join as an associate, it's time to start figuring out how to make money with this business.
This is what is talk fusion about:
Talk Fusion is a direct selling or network marketing company, so the idea is to tell as many people as you can about it, in hopes they'll join your team and be added to your down-line.
In the sales video, the speaker says all you have to do is tell two people about it, and then those people tell another two people, etc.
Classic multi-level marketing stuff.
As an associate, you're responsible for two tasks;
- Making sales.
- And recruiting new people to your down-line for team bonuses and what not.
Of course, each product has a Sales Volume, and you have to accumulate a certain amount of Volume on each binary leg for bonuses.
If you sell...
- Executive Package - (100 SV) Earn $20 USD
- Elite Package - ( 300 SV) Earn $60 USD
- Pro Package - (600 SV)Earn $120 USD
So if you have a minimum of 100 GSV (Group Sales Volume) in each leg you earn a $25 bonus, the remaining volume is carried to next cycle.
You can also earn with Mega Matching Bonuses. With this bonus you earn 10% of your team's earnings. There's also a Customer Pool which is like a raffle for customers; whoever gets the most customers wins a cash-prize.
Long story short, as an associate, you're job is to make direct product sales while also building a team.
Thanks to the Internet, I'm constantly getting at least 20 new leads per day without doing any cold calling, hard selling or recruiting.

But remember the income disclaimer we talked about earlier?
Keep that in mind.
Talk Fusion Pros:
Not much about Talk Fusion is impressive. There's one feature, called Instant Commissions that sounds cool. They say commissions only take a few minutes to be added to your account. They claim it's instant.
At least it's not another health supplement network-marketing company. Their product is a little different, video conference tools, which can be useful for online marketers.
But not many people need to do mass video-conferences anyways, and if they do, there are plenty of free tools out there to use.
Talk Fusion Cons:
Quite a lot. The main issue I had with this company is the amount of hype and vague income promises on the opportunity page.
I thought it was ironic they promise the life of your dreams, and then the income disclaimer says something completely different.
Actually, the income disclaimer says most people spend more money than they earn.
You have to be careful. In most cases (unless you have exceptional marketing skills) making sales will be difficult... and building a team will be even harder.
Sometimes I wonder how all these companies can use the exact same compensation system and not sue each other.
Is Talk Fusion a Scam?
It's a grey area. Talk Fusion does offer a set of video marketing tools, so at least they offer some products.
On the other hand, the business opportunity is a bit suspicious and looks like a pyramid scheme.
Especially when you compare the income disclaimer to the hype in the sales videos. Something doesn't add up.

What You Can Try Instead:
For one, consider avoiding all products that promise you can earn millions of dollars right off the bat.
If a company uses a sales video that is full of yachts, mansions, and sports cars, it's probably a scam.
Instead, don't worry about "achieving the life of your dreams" instead, take it a step at a time.

I thought I’ve seen all types of network marketing companies. Now video conferencing tools – that’s new. I am trying to think who might be interested with this highly priced digital product. With YouTube and other platforms, I am sure video marketers are more keen to invest on a friendly budget to sustain their business. The product pricing are just too expensive in my opinion, but they probably have to do so to grow their down lines, uh.

What a great review! There are so many pitfalls online when searching to start an online business. Like you said just because something isn’t a SCAM….doesn’t means it’s good…or even a decent return on your investment.
Talk Fusion sounds more like Talk ConFusion. Once recruiting becomes a priority – the red flag goes up and I’m suspicious. The pitch usually is…”all you have to do is get 10 people to….”.
To be successful you need to be able to create something unique…and it need to either entertain people or solve a problem for them. Helping others is the way to make money. I’ve read some of your other articles on affiliate marketing and that sounds like a sustainable and rewarding way to generate some income.

Thanks for leaving a comment. I totally agree, their tools seem to work as promised, but then the business opportunity is something completely different. You have to recruit, make sales, recruit make sales, and repeat, for very little compensation. Just not worth it. What you said about being successful is totally spot on.

Companies like Talk Fusion tend to sell valubale products. But unfortunately, the “Biz Opp” side of things doesn’t just put reps/distributors out of pocket, but it’s also difficult to generate a full-time income because the training isn’t always adequate – which means most of these Biz owners end up spamming social media (namely Facebook) with their product and opportunity links.
This is from my past experiences with Global Domains International (MLM) and from what I see today. Actually, I’ve seen a lot of MCA (also an MLM) reps flashing cash and making misleading claims on Instagram. The way I see it, the MLM industry is skating on thin ice. It will be interesting to hear what the FTC makes of MLM/Network Marketing.
But anyway, back to Talk Fusion…
I like that it has various options for conference videos. However, I’m not keen on the price of Pro package, which I guess is probably best for bigger businesses who can afford it.
I think it’s particulalrly bad that very few folks are making money with Talk Fusion and doesn’t exactly fill you with confidence as a new rep. I also hate the sound of the complicated comp plan because it’s frustrating!
On paper, it sounds like the opportunity of a lifetime. But clearly from your review, Talk Fusion doesn’t live up to our expectations.

Thanks for your heads-up about Talk Fusion. It does sounds like just another pie-in-the-sky promise factory to me. There are so many of them.
I do have to agree with you, that taking it one step at a time and building your own way of getting to the freedom you want makes more sense.
Hustling and putting out tremendous energy doing something that furthers somebody else’s dream that is not necessarily yours seems like the long way around. Putting in all that effort that could be better spent doing your own dream just doesn’t make a heck of a lot of sense to me.
My opinion is that Talk Fusion is not a scam. They are misleading and arrogant in their claims, have fictitious actors, but you can make money with a lot of hard work with is common with MLM.
I think that talk with lofty words and talk of all the money you can make is fairly normal with MLM because there are people who love MLM and interesting products
Talk Fusion sounds like an interesting opportunity. I’ve never really been into the video making scene, so that will be new to me for sure. I can see the benefits of subscribing to their service but I wonder how much I would have to spend to buy the equipment I would need to really get started? Thanks for the good info.
That is what I figured. Thanks for reassuring me that Talk Fusion is not the opportunity for me. Seems like they’re just recruiting sales people without having to pay anybody a salary for their efforts.
Maybe I’m missing something here but the majority are failing perhaps because this is not a product that is useful and is somewhat outdated, especially with the likes of Skype, Google Hangouts, and Facebook groups out there. I think I’m going to just check out your top recommended program.
These days, there are lots options for marketing videos. I’ve seen a lot of success with free tools like Facebook, or even through email campaigns with free- to inexpensive mailing lists.
This sounds to me like a total rip-off. Video-conferencing tools have been around (and free) since Skype. For that kind of cost, I don’t see any value in Talk Fusion.

This is a great review. I really like that you are honest and don’t say that Talk Fusion isn’t a scam because I don’t think it is.
Even though MLM’s are not by definition a way to scam people, everyday I see big signs promising that you are going to make 4 or 5 figures within minutes with a small investment. I almost got involved with Digital Altitude once and I am glad I didn’t.
In this case I can see the similarity with DA because you think you are joining for a price and then it scales up to so much more. I don’t like this system.
